It pokes fun at local events and news developments from the previous year. Show organizers from the Reno advertising club promise this year's show will take good-hearted jabs at the city council. During a "Baaaaman" skit, a spoof of the Batman movies, the entire city council is kidnapped. Sadly, they are rescued by Captain Sheep Dip. Writing starts in August, and rehearsals begin in December.

The show is a production of the Reno Ad Club, which donates proceeds to advertising students at the University of Nevada, Reno. A full orchestra plays during the event. Each show takes at least 200 people to organize and perform, and about 100 of them get on stage. Most shows have four skits, but this show has three skits because "Baaaaman" is longer than most spoofs. The show will include a video spoof on retiring Rep.
