Post Office. Avery Mullin and a friend are spending four weeks here at the home of the former's parents Mr. and Mrs. Vee Mullin. At the clusion of their furlough they will report to Camp Kilmer, N.

Ed Cink are parents of a son born at the Buffalo Center hospital last week. They now have a. damily of six and two girls. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Mary Rud sill 'Saturday night and Sunday were her sister Mrs.

Henry and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wibble of Rockford, and Mr. and Dire. Chris Boone.

J. Hoff at the Goslin home On Wednesday afternoon. The local soft ball team played the Moose team of Mason City here Sunday evening and were feated by a score of 5 to 4 in an overtime game. Mr. and Mrs.

and Mrs. Andrew Anderson visited Wednesday evening with Andrew's father and brothers at Ringsted and Thursday evening visited Mr Mrs. Bruce Monson in Armstrong. Mr. A.

Anderson received word last week of the accident in which his nephew, Dale Anderson, of Ringsted suffered the loss of a leg in a tractor accident. He is in a Rochester, Minn. hospital. Rev. and 1 Mrs.

O. J. Odland of Clark, S. D. arrived Sunday to visit their daughter, Mrs.

W. D. and family. Mrs. Don Webster, Pamela and Howard, Elsie and Stroebel and Mrs.

Webster's the Mrs. Carrie Koestler of Burt plan to leave August 4 for a motor trip to the west. Their first stop will be Ely, Nevada, to visit a sister of Mrs. Webster. Elsie and Berdean will go by train to Richmond, Calif.

to visit their grandparents, and later will meet the rest of the party in Riverside, Calif. at the Kenneth Carlson, a brother of Mrs. Webster, before returning home before September 1st. Sunday guests at the Loren Thompsons were Mr. and Mrs.

Everett Thompson and Mr Mrs. Joe Gaye all of Waterloo. They were returning from Brainerd. Minn. where they had spent a week.

Mr.and Mrs. Cecil Bartel and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Voseberg and Duane of Knierin, Iowa were Saturday visitors at the Hill Mabus home. They are cousins of Mrs.

Mabus. Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Lester have returned from a week in Fort Dodge. Mr.

and Mrs. Will Mabus visited Sunday in Forest City with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kiekel. Mr.

and Mrs. Joe Bruns of Fairmont, Minn. were Sunday callers at the Emory Smith home. Mr. and Mrs.
