A quartet of friendly dinosaurs travels through time to New York in "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story." By ELEANOR O'SULLIVAN PRESS MOVIE WRITER Steven Spielberg somehow wedged "presenting" that means he's one of three executive producers "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story," with directing "Jurassic Park" and the upcoming "Schindler's List" in 1993.

Two out of three isn't bad. Meaning that "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story" shows signs of being hurried, or at least not well thought out by Spielberg and his team. It's not particularly appealing to look at and its story of good vs. evil, with dinosaurs as the centerpiece, isn't very gripping. The animated feature runs a brief 79 minutes, a blessing.

The film begins with a bird being told by golfing dinosaur Rex (voice of John Goodman) that once upon a time, dinosaurs were stupid and violent, but, "Let's face it, we've evolved," and then it moves into flashback for a chronicling of dinosaurs' beginnings. No point in disputing the factuality of this. The movie then returns to the present all this back and forthing is annoying to the flying laboratory of Captain NewEyes (voice of Walter Cronkite), who manufactures Brain Grain and announces, "I've made a fortune and now in my golden years, I'm trying to give something back," which takes the form of a Wish Radio, where children can make a wish and perhaps have it come true. The balance of the movie deals with New York orphan Buster (voice of I lmStfJ(SM lip SHEETS TOWELS BEDSPREADS COMFORTER SETS CURTAINS SHOWER CURTAINS DECORATIVE PILLOWS The Pingry School is on Route 525 (Exit 33 of 1-78) about 12 minutes south of Ber-nardsville. Otherwise, it's a rather preachy and bumpy entertainment. The technical achievements of this movie are far less impressive than anything seen in "Jurassic Park," and the "romance" between Buster and Cecilia (Yeardley Smith), a rich, lonely girl who says "My father's very business, my mother's very social," is pretty forced stuff for 1993. And it seems odd that a filmmaker of such wealth and power would resort to plugging his own movie in another movie in the background of a Thanksgiving parade is a marquee saying "Jurassic Park." You'd think Spielberg would be way beyond that. HUUhbhLhLlIUlNb DISCOUNT PRICES ITS WORTH THE TRIP" 1 torn COMFORTER SETS Reg.
