Drop in Profit Margin The retail price decrease was attributed to a drop in the prevailing wholesale "mark-up" or profit margin. Bunched full-top carrots will drop from 10 to nine cents a bunch and jess-tnan-pound bunches will go oown irom 10 to nine cents a pound.
