Bob will have assistance from Patti Page and Bobby Darin, and his show will "be basically the formula he has used in recent years. First, a monologue. Then the skits and songs. The two major skits tonight are "Ugly Amelican" (Hope as an Oriental Tommy Manville, Patti as a cafe singer, Bobby as an American tourist who paints) and "Two On a Rocket" (Hope as an accidental passenger on a space-bound flight, Patti as a stewardess).

Darin sings his new hit, "Artificial Flowers," a bouncy ballad from "Tenderloin," plus a bit of "Up a Lazy River," and Miss Page solos on "I Wish I'd Never Been Born." Channel 11. And young Johnny Borden (does Kraft know about Borden?) of "Bye Bye Birdie" sings "One For My Baby," as a kid trying to drown his memories in chocolate malteds.

Channels 6, 7, 11. (color) There'll be 54 songs used during THE BLVG CROSBY SHOW, a happy musical hour with Rosemary Ciooney (Bing's radio partner these dayst, Carol Lawrence, Johnny Mercer and three Crosby sons. The big production number, done via the Chroma-Key process, has Bing singing in a quartet with three other Bings. The overall theme of the show is songs from the hey-day of radio. 1011.

Channels 4, 9, 10. This season's WAGON TRAIN seems to be developing into a situation comedy with horses. Tonight, George Gobel Joins up for a romp. He's Horace Best, a distant relative of Major Adams, and he has a hankering to start a wagon train of his own. He's a shrewdie, and pretty soon he has the suppiy of wagons, food, guns and horses cornered, and he's hired away some of Adams' old hands.

But all is not lost. Channels 6. 7, 11. New tonight is SISTER EILEEN, which was tested on Goodyear-Alcoa last season. All is as it was on that pilot, except that Shirley Bonne replaced Anne Helm as Eileen.

But Elaine Stritch is back as sister Ruth. This episode stretches your belief in mistaken identity to the breaking point. A photographer for a cheesecake magazine spots Eileen, hut what with one thing and another (including a black wig) things get all messed up. Channels 2, 9. (Channel 6 at 7:00) 010 The HAWAIIAN EYE detectives get mixed up in narcotics smuggling.

Much of this takes place, and was filmed at, Kona. on the island of Hawaii, which the natives call "The Big Island," It's a far-different locale than Honolulu and makes a pretty background. There's also a good shot of Honolulu taken from the Punchbowl, high in the surrounding mountains. Channel 4.
