But the advantage was shortlived as Yale came storming back for three touchdowns in 17 min utes for its third win of the season. McAniff sprinted wide fo the left for the final seven yards of Cornell's 73-yard scoring just four minutes after the second half startetd. Tom Skypeck made the conversion good for a 7-0. Then Winterbauer unlim- bered his right arm and Yale was on its way. The 21-year-olrt senior from Arlington Heights, 111., hit Gene Coker and Mike Cavallon with aerials good for 35 yards before Herb Hallas swept wide to the right for Yale's first touchdown.

Winterbauer's kick was no good and Cornell still led, 7-6, but not for long. Taking advantage of a poor punt, Yale began xvheeling from midfield with Fullback Coker eating up most of the yardage. Cornell stiffened on the 15 but Win-Wbauer was not to be denied. He connected with Cavallon and Yale was ahead to stay.
