Mrs. Holmbeck had visited in her son. Earl Holmbeck's home here many times as she had in the home of her grandson, Mr, and Mrs. R.D. Holmbeck and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dienstbier and family were weekend guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dienstbier.

Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Dienstbier, Liberty, visited with them. Mr. and Mrs.

Duane Argo hosted a class reunion in their home. Plans were to picnic in a park but the rain did not stop falling. They graduated in 1955. Five of the classmates and families were able to be present. Graduates were James Graham, Larry Remmers, Shirley Barnhill, and Ruth Hroch.

Sister James is spending some time witih her mother, Mrs. Hugh York during her vacation. Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. William Hyberger, Beatrice.

Guy Hyberger is in the Emanuel Lutheran Hospital in Omaha for x-rays and treatment. Mrs. Hyberger will go to Omaha to be with her son accompanied by Sister James. Both ladies are registered were present. The group presented Mr.

and Mrs. Lev! with gift. Mrs. Alma Bostelman, Deshler, an overnight guest of her sister, Mrs. Harry Schwab and family, coming to attend commencement of Bradley Schwab.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Molzer observed their 25th wedding anniversary in tfheir home with a social evening. Among the guests were their two children, Pennis Molzer, his wife and daughter, Laura, Marysville, the daughter, Verneta, Mrs. Lamar Schmidt, her husband and two weeks old son, Robert.

Schnitker, Plymouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rehin of Craig, aunt of the honoree. The following Sunday Mr. and Mrs.

Harvey Allerheiligen honored their son, David, at a dinner in their home. Relatives from Missouri and Kansas and the Ivan Keller family of Beatrice, attended. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Mohar were overnight guests of her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Ed Nispel, enroute to their home in Omaha after a vacation trip to Texas. Pastor and Mrs. Donald Grummert and family of Minneapolis, spent a week with his father, Henry Merklinger and other relatives. Ed Jacobs returned home Wednesday from Omaha where he was hospitalized in the Clarkson Hospital for eye surgery and treatment.

Mrs Clara Vorderstrasse returned home after a visit with her daughters' and their fam- Robbie, Beatrice. Mrs. Emma Miss Shirley Janssen, Miss Kathy Mailhan and Timothy Kenyon returned from a two weeks trip to "Friends in Mexico" in Galeana, Mex. There were 27 in the group who went in two vans. Mrs.

Aileen Hutchinson was in charge of the guest book. Introducing the brid'e-to-be and her relatives was Mrs. Twila Wickersham. Mrs, Esther Hendricksen led a poem "Advice to the Bride" and Mrs. Esther Hendrichsen led a game in which all participated.

Group singing was also held. Mrs. David Bowers, Omaha, assisted Linda witfi her gifts. A color scheme of pink and white was used. Lunch was served to 50.

Mrs. Harlan Johnston and a younger daughter from Cozad were present. Everett Prine, Livingston, Calif- Bruce Armstrong, and F. F. Sorenson. It was also Lawrence Ammstrong's birthday. A children's day service was held in the American Lutheran Church on Father's Day, followed by a pot-luck dinner in the Fellowship hall.

Bible school was hdd in the forenoon for two weeks with 65 children enrolled. They had a team ministry in each class. The teams were: kindergarten, Verdella Ideus and Karen Janssen; primary, Glenda Nelson and Melody Jurgens, junior, Sandra Schoen and Susan Fritzen; junior, Barbara Harder and Lorraine Harms; Cliff Winkle and Dennis Winkle were Sunday dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Dragoo and family.

Arnold Wolters of Thousand Oaks, passed away Sunday morning. He was the son- in4aw of Mr. and Mrs. E. A.

Bmal. Mrs. Clarence Emal, and Mr. and Mrs. E.

A. Emal visited Mrs. Mary Ridgley and E. F. Emal in the Mennonite Hospital- Mr, and Mrs.

Norval Williams of Adams visited with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Emal, Sr. Saturday callers in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Clarence Emal were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Siems, Salem and Mrs. Wayne Terry and Lori and Greg of New Orleans, La. Mrs.

Shirley Graham and family of Sumnierville, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bucker. Dave Emal has returned home after visiting friends in Mesa, and Albuquerque, N.M. Floyd Schneider and Clifford Winkle took in the Royal Lipiz- zaner Stallion Show at PersMng Auditorium in Lincoln.

and Mrs. Harley McCoy of Sumner, are here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Jones. Rolfsmeyer and family and Mrs.

Vesta Quathamer, Cortland. Mr. and Mrs. Harm Schuster, Mr. and Mrs.

John Schuster and George Dorri attended the Dorn reunion in Geneva, Sunday. A picnic supper was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Cornelius and family. Present were Mr.

and Mrs. Terry Novbtny and girls, Wymore, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Warford and girls and Mr. and Mrs.
