Currently Miss Benaderet is seen weekly as Peter Lind Hayes' and Mary HeaJy's somewhat lovelorn housekeeper, i 1 on "Peter Loves Mary." She got the job easily on the basis of references from her last employer, George Burns, for whom she toiled eight years as Blanche Morton, henpecking next-door neighbor on the now much-missed George and Gracie telecasts. "The top supporting performer has the best job in show business," says Bea. who has a housekeeper of her own in private life.
