Payment will be made through the culinary workers union which made the claim in bankruptcy court. Checks, authorized by bankruptcy referee John Mowbray, will be distributed after April 20, it was reported. Other workers, including shills, dealers and maids, will be paid by check through the mail, trustee Carl Reed said. Checks range from $5 to $450 and cover the last half of the month of December 1955.

Reed, as trustee, was awarded $2500 for his services and attorneys were granted fees amounting to $17,500. The federal government, although it had a lien on the hotel corporation for 5112,000 will receive between $25,000 and $30,000.
