She was a member of Fight for Sight, New York, the Lady Guard of Manahawkin, the Prime Timers, Barnegat, the Manahawkin Social Club, and the American Legion, Brooklyn. She received the City Award for being the editor of all Housing Authority newspapers in New York. Mrs.

Brandes was born in New York and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Barnegat 15 years ago. Surviving are her husband, Murray; three sons, Joel, and Martin, both of Merrick, N.Y., and Douglas Knapp, New Paltz, N.Y.; two daughters, Phyllis Zelman, Barnegat, and Iris Blando, Parkertown, Little Egg Harbor Township; three brothers, Alexander i ri t. Kaucnman, iew iotk; rniup jaucn-man, the Bronx, and Denis Rauchman, San Francisco; a sister, Beatrice Rauchman, New York; 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Belkoff Jewish Memorial Chapel, Lake-wood, is in charge of arrangements. GERTRUDE TYRRELL DALTON, 89, of BRICK TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Point Pleasant Hospital.

She was a member of Church of the Epiphany, Brick, the Altar Rosary Society of the church, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Mrs. Dalton was born in Perth Amboy and lived there before moving to Brick two years. She was a summer resident of Brick for 30 years. Her husband, Thomas died in 1976.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas Aberdeen Township, and William Brick; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Colonial Funeral Home, Brick Township, is in charge of arrangements. lived in Fords, Woodbridge Township, and in Toms River before moving to Tamarac 10 years ago. His son, Roger J. Schultz, died in 1955.

Surviving are his wife, Doris Anderson Schultz; a son, Donald B. Schultz, Fords; and a sister, Audrey McCormack, Pompano Beach, Fla. Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, Woodbridge Township, is in charge of arrangements. JOHN BIELAK, 90, of MANALA-PAN TOWNSHIP, died May 14 at Raritan Bay Regional Hospital, Old Bridge Township. He was a laborer for the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Mr. Bielak was born in Poland and lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Manaiapan Township. There are no known survivors. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements. OLIVE G.

BUCKALEW, 87, of Harbour Heights, whose brother lives in WALL TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday at Point Pleasant Hospital. She retired from N.J. Bell Telephone Co. in 1961 after 34 years of service. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Harbour Heights, and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Mrs. Buckalew was born in Millburn and lived in Springfield before moving to Harbour Heights 32 years ago. Surviving are two sisters, Margaret Cook, Lakewood, and Amy Shugard, Emporia, and three brothers, William, Summit; Homer, East Hanover Township, and Wellington, Wall Township. FARRY, 53, of FARMINGDALE, died Thursday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Farry was born in Long Branch and was a longtime resident of Farmingdale. Surviving are his father, Percy S. Farry Farmingdale, and a sister, Janice Farry-Menke, Tucson, Ariz.

C.H.T. Clayton Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell Township, is in charge of arrangements. BILL J. HAVARD, 58, of SEA BRIGHT, died yesterday at River-view Medical Center, Red Bank. He was sales manager at Land-n-Sea Clothing Manufacturing New York, for seven years, retiring in 1994.

He served in the Air Force from 1958-1960. He was a communicant of Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. He received his bachelor's degree in 1958 from Union College, New York. Mr. Havard was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Sea Bright 15 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, W. Scott Havard, Middletown Township; Kevin Havard, Long Branch, and Todd Havard, Highlands; and four grandchild dren. John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements. CLARA SOLLY HOLLOWAY, 85, of Hamilton Township, formerly of NEPTUNE, died Wednesday at St.

Francis Medical Center, Trenton. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Trenton, and for many years was a volunteer at both the Baptist Home, Riverside, and the Dunnelly Memorial Hospital, Trenton. Mrs. i Holloway was born in Belmar and lived in the Trenton area for the past 65 i years. Her husband, Joseph 0., died in 1981.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Kelly, Trenton; Claire Hana- way, Hamilton, and Betty Sabol, Roe-j bling; a sister, Elizabeth Hart, Whit-" ing, Manchester Township; a brother, Richard Solly, Neptune; 11 grandchil-i dren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Rogers Funeral Home, Trenton, is in charge of arrangements. WILLIAM R. KNAPP, 71, of Tobyhanna, with kin in MONMOUTH COUNTY, died Wednesday at his residence. He was a supervisor for Western Electric Kearny, for over 38 years.

He was an World War II Army veteran. He was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church, Mount Pocono, Pa. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Tobyhanna. He also served as a past district deputy and a past faithful navigator of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Knapp was born in Newark and lived in Kearny before moving to Tobyhanna. Surviving are his wife, Jean Thixton Knapp; a son, William Knapp, Belle Mead; a stepson, William May, Mor-ganville, Marlboro Township; two stepdaughters, Jean Jones, East Brunswick Township, and Terese Cassano, South Plainfield; four brothers, Richard, Leonardo, Middletown Township; Robert, East Keansburg, Middletown; Donald, West Keansburg, Hazlet Township, and Gary, Keansburg; a sister, Beverly Wilson, Keansburg, and seven grandchildren. MAUREEN A. LOIS, 51, of EATONTOWN, died yesterday at Emery Manor Nursing Home, Old Bridge Township. She was international customer service operator for Federal Express, Somerset. She was a member of Universal Oneness Church, Fair Haven. Mrs.

Lois was born in New York and lived in Middletown Township before moving to Eatontown a year ago. Surviving are her husband, Bill; a son, Christian Lois, and a daughter, Katie Lois, both of Eatontown; a brother, Timothy Boyle, Putnam Valley, N.Y.; and four sisters, Patricia Haut, Norwalk, Frances Good, Albany, N.Y.; Kathleen Mitchell, Pearl River, N.Y., and Nunion Pittman, California. HENRY MORGAN, 79, of NEW YORK, the caustic radio and television wit who won listeners but lost some sponsors by skewering their products, has died of lung cancer at his Manhattan home, family spokeswoman Joan Harris said.

With his signature sign-on of "Good evening, anybody. Here's Morgan, he attracted a radio following in the 1940s, first with a local 15-minute program, then a half-hour radio network show. His impudent style led some listeners to conclude he must a Communist, and he found his name included in Red Channels, a listing of entertainers accused of Communist ties. He insisted he was apolitical but was blacklisted anyway. Eventually, he returned to regular TV appearances.

He was seen on the popular panel shows "What's My Line" and "I've Got a Secret" in the 1950s and '60s. In 1951, "Henry Morgan's Great Talent Hunt" aired on NBC as a satire of "Original Amateur Hour" and other programs. Arnold ALMA KRAUS, 95, of Crestwood Village, Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Kraus was born in Germany and came to the United State in 1926.

She lived in Brooklyn most of her life before moving to Crestwood Village in 1971. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1983. Surviving is a son, John Kraus, Long Beach, Long Island. Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting, Manchester Township, is in charge of arrangements. GUSTAV KUCHENMEISTER, 84, of MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

He was a lens grinder and polisher for American Stethoscope the Bronx, for 28 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Steuben Society Molly Pitcher Unit, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8745, Whiting, and a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Kuchen-meister was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1928. He lived in New York and in Queens before moving to Whiting in 1972.

Surviving are his wife, Katharina Kestner Kuchenmeister; and a brother, Emil Kuchenmeister, Germany. Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, Manchester Township, is in charge of arrangements. THOMAS LANZANO, 49, of TOMS RIVER, died Thursday at University Hospital, Newark. He owned and operated Carpet Care Toms River, for the past 10 years. He was a member of St.

Justin's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Lanzano was born in Brooklyn and lived in Staten Island before moving to Toms River in 1982. His son, John, died in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Amelia Carbone Lanzano; a son, Thomas, Toms River; three brothers, Robert, James, and John, all of Brooklyn; and a sister, Marion Scarpa, Staten Island.

Silver-ton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements. ANN F. DE LUCA LE MORE, 47, of BRICK TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at home. She was a clerical worker for Cucina Classica, Brick, for the past three years. Ms.

LeMore was born in Jersey City and lived there before moving to Brick in 1972. Surviving are a son, Anthony, Brick; her father, Anthony, Sayreville; a brother, George, Rotonda West, and a sister, Phyllis Garitta, Bayonne. Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, is in charge of arrangements. ROBERT T. PARK, 69, of Silver Ridge Park West, BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

He was a firefighter in Kearny for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Firemen's Benevolent Association Local 18, Kearny, the Retired Police and Fireman's Association of Ocean County, and the Silver Ridge Park Westerly Homeowners Association. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Arlington. Mr. Park was born in Newark and lived in 2k Stang was Morgan's assistant, tracking down the people with odd talents.

Morgan also starred in one movie, "So This Is New York," in 1948, an early Stanley Kramer effort, alternately funny and flat. He baited the pharmaceutical industry when he talked about the town of More, Utah. He said it had two doctors and "This led to the famous ad which begins, 'More doctors recommend And the makers of Oh! Henry candy bars withdrew their support after he said the candy was a meal in itself, "but you eat three meals of O'Henry's and your teeth will fallout." Once in 1947, he asked parents to leave the room, then advised children to run away from home and become smugglers. "It's exciting, it's healthy, it's a wonderful life," he told them. "Get out now before it's too late." He enjoyed a long run with Adler Elevator Shoes, whose owner, derided on air as "Old Man Adler," didn't mind the barbs.

But one hour after Morgan mocked the hole in the middle of Life Savers, the candy maker canceled its sponsorship. Morgan is survived by his wife, Karen Sorensen, whom he married in 1978, and a son. The Associated Press Kearny for 55 years before moving to Silver Ridge Park West 15 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mary Breen Park; a son, James Park, Point Pleasant; two daughters, Barbara Graham, Mechanicsburg, and Carol Fikslin, Toms River; a brother, John Park, Leonardo, Middletown Township; a sister, Dorothy Layton, Kearny, and five grandchildren. Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.

FRANCES CAROL PASINO, 76, of Albany, formerly of POINT PLEASANT, died May 15 at home. She was a member of the Harvey Memorial Church, Point Pleasant. Mrs. Pasino was born in Bay Head and lived in Point Pleasant before moving to Albany 20 years ago. Her husband, Natale Pasino, died in 1984.

Surviving are a daughter, Mari McEwen, Albany, a stepson, Charles Pasino, Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Home, Albany, was in charge of arrangements. EDWARD W. PATTON, 80, of Mystic Shores, LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at home. He was an inspector and supervisor for Campbell's Soup Camden, for 25 years, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of the South Jersey Champion Chess Club. Mr. Patton was born in Philadelphia and lived in Camden and in Pitman before moving to Mystic Shores in 1974. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Ethel Slavin Patton; two sons, William, Pitman, and George, Williamstown, Winslow Township; a daughter, Mary Ellen Brining, Paulsboro; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. MARGARET DRAYCOTT ROLLINS, 82, of LAKEWOOD, died Thursday at Brick Hospital, Brick Township. She was a registered nurse at Paterson Army Hospital at Fort Monmouth in the 1960s retiring in the 1970s. She was a member of Manasquan United Methodist Church, and a former member of South Monmouth Senior Citizens, Manasquan. Mrs. Rollins was born in West Creek, Eagles-wood Township, and lived in Spring Lake Heights before moving to Lake-wood nine years ago.

Her husband, Kenneth, died in 1960. Surviving is a brother, William Draycott, Manasquan. Robert C. Neary Funeral Home, Manasquan, is in charge of arrangements. HERBERT J.

SCHULTZ, 67, of Tamarac, formerly of TOMS RIVER, died Thursday at home. He was a salesman with Distributors, Millburn Township, for 10 years, retiring in 1977. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Hope-lawn Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 1352, where he served as post commander and was a past county commander. He was a member of the Military Order of the Cooties Perth Amboy Post 26, and Elks Lodge 2151, Brick Township. Mr.

Schultz was born Floral Park, N.Y., and SANFORD M. FISCHER, 66, of LAKEWOOD, died yesterday at Beth Israel Hospital, New York. He was a decorator and was the owner of Bath Mates, Short Hills, for 20 years, and the of Signature Settings, New York, from 1979 until his retirement in 1989. He was a 1948 graduate of Philadelphia School of Design. Fischer was born in Newark and lived in Mil-lburn, Springfield, and in New York before moving to Lakewood eight years ago.

Surviving is a sister, Shirley Kaufer, Basking Ridge, Bernards Township. Bernheim, Apter, Goldsticker Suburban Funeral Chapel, Maplewood, is in charge of arrangements. STEPHEN KASPER, 71, of Silver Ridge Park North, BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, who died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River was survived by his wife, Jemma Santacroce Kasper, and a brother, John Kasper, Toms River. His wife's first name was misspelled and his brother's first name was incorrect in yesterday's Asbury Park Press. JOHN KOCH, 87, Pine Ridge, Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

He was a salesman for Z.B. Yarns Mills, West New York, for 51 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Crestwood Evangelical Congregational Church, Whiting, and a former member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the Men's Club and served as vestryman. Mr.

Koch was born in Jersey City and lived most of his life in Secaucus before moving to Pine Ridge. Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Irene Asselmeyer Koch, and a son, Kenneth R. Koch, Secaucus. Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, is in charge of arrangements. LOIS Maureen A.

for Anna E. Glick. 88, of late a resident of the Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton Square, N.J. Anna died on Jan. 12, 1994 following a long Illness.

Born March 30, 1906 in Winona, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leonard and Ruthanna Coppock Winder. At an early age Mrs. Click moved with her family from the Winona area to Morrisville, Pa. In 1926 she graduated from the Friends Boarding School in Barnesville. Ohio.

She had resided in Trenton, N.J. and was employed by the General Motors retiring in 1970. She was a member of Winona Friends Meeting and also attended a Meeting in Asbury Park where she resided prior to entering the Care Center in 1990. She was preceded in death by her first husband Randolph Chappell In 1952, and in also was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include nieces and nephews, grandnleces and grandnephews, several cousins and many Irienu I1U3.
