Is there an American anywhere who needs turkey to make him or her thankful? It isn't the food we eat that has made it a truly American custom. It's the spirit which has come down to us from the days when our Pilgrim Fathers gave thanks for bounteous harvests. Very first thing for which we can be thankful this year Is that our boys at the front and In the army camps will have as much turkey as can be shipped to them. Most of us gladly relinquish our share in their favor. Next thing for whirh we ran be thankful is that there is plenty of other food to mnke a festive dinner.
