AKRON BEACON JOURNAL Sunday, September 22, 1946 Donna Posten Weds At Altar GOWNED in exquisite white transparent velvet, Miss Donna Avis Posten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil A. Posten, 453 Edgewood became the bride on Sunday, Sept. 15, of Harold H.

Klever, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Klever, 635 Merton av. Tall waxen tapers and vases of white gladioli decorated the altar of Firestone Methodist church for the ceremony. Rev.

George Mayer officiated at 7 p. m. Mrs. Victor Schermesser presented a half-hour organ prelude. The bridal gown was fashioned with rounded Peter Pan collar, long sleeves and turn-back cuffs.

Covered buttons closed the fitted bodice in back. A gathered apron-effect over the hipline tied in a large bowknot in back and extended into a slim with medium train. A "pearied tiara held in place her fingertip veil and a white orchid WA8 attached to the prayer-book carried by the bride. The new Mrs. Klever was attended by Mrs.

Departing for a honeymoon cruise through the Great Lakes, the bride appeared in a black wool dressmaker suit with black derby hat and red accessories.
