WHILE THE 2,000.000 new TV set owners in major league baseball cities hurt attendance to some extent this year, television was only one of five major factors responsible for an attendance drop of 13 per cent for major league teams and 19 per cent in the minors this year. That's the finding of a survey on the situation conducted by a University of Pennsylvania graduate student. Jerry N. Jordan.
