New KC Officer* Duties At Edwardsville EDWARDSVILLE - Jarrett 3. assumed the duties of grand knight of the Edwardsville Council of Knights ot Columbus at Monday night's eotmcil meeting held In the group's elubrooms. A resolution was drawn up, not- ng the passing of Past Grand Knight Dennis D. ttentz which will be presented to the immediate family. The club's charter was draped and will remain so for the next 30 days In honor of the late Edwardsville fire chief. The Rev. Father George E Faller, pastor of St. Boniface Church, will act as chaplain for the coming year. Past Grand Knight Frank A. Vanzo was appointed lecturer. Financial Secretary David A. A representative to attend the Edwards ville Community Council of Or ganlzatlons will be appointed in [he near future. A large central air condition ing unit is in the process of being installed and will be placed in operation In the near future. The annual Knights of Columbus and Daughters of Isabella picnic will be held this year again at the American Legion Park on Sunday, Aug. SI.
