Brubach Is ta chartered GM Approves Lower Dividend DETROIT (UPI)-Despite a 9 per cent jump in second quarter profits, directors of General Motors Corp. voted to pay a third straight reduced quarterly dividend of 60 cents a share.

The third quarter dividend, payable Sept. 10, together with dividends of SO cents a share each for the first and second quarters, brings total dividends for the first nine months of 1975 to $1.80 a share. This compares with total dividends of $2.55 per share paid in the first nine months of 1974. Directors voted to reduce the quarterly dividend from 85 cents a share to 60 cents following the fourth quarter of 1974 when the jNo. 1 automaker's profits for the year were down more than 60 per cent from the record 1973 performance.

Former Italian Premier Amintore Fanfani, 67, has married Maria Pia Tavazzani, 50, in a private Roman Catholic cere-, mony. It was the second marriage for both. Fanfani, a widower eight years, has seven children. His new wife, who was widowed in 1971, has one son. Fanfani was ousted last month as secretary of the ruling Christian Democratic Party.

His conservatism was blamed for the party's heavy losses in June regional elections. Bernard "Big Six" Henderson, 72, has retired for the third and last time, he says, as U. S. marshal for the Western District of Kentucky. He announced his retirement in Louisville.
