M. C. BRITTON of Akron and Barberton are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Madelyne Yvonne, to Mark E. Garrett, son of Mr. and Mrs.

J. M. Garrett of Tampa, Fla. The nuptials were performed at Lancaster St. Baptist church in Dallas, Tex.

An arch covered with ferns and white gladioli decorated the chapel for the ceremony. Miss Eileen Williams was organist, with Miss Elizabeth Smith as soloist, Officiating for the double ring ceremony was Dr. M. Reed Forrester. The bride, given in marriage by her cousin, Dr.

For traveling the new Mrs. Campbell wore a brown pin stripe suit with aquamarine shade accessories. Her corsage was of white rose buds. The bride attended University of Akron and is a member of Alpha Delta Pi. The bridegroom received a bachelor of science degree from Western Reserve university, Cleveland, in June.

They wore pink lace mitts and carried arm bouquets of lilies.

Bridesmaids were Miss Joanne Quinn, Mrs. Joseph Koob, and Miss Mary Margaret Zwisler. William E. O'Connor served as best man and ushers were Leo Bertele. Louis Tondreau of Brunswick, and J.

C. Harper. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's aunt, Miss Katherine McDonough, 94 Paige av.
