Burdett Cox Friday M. H. S. SCRIBBLER Editorial- NEWS MEDIA The news media of America is very important to the country in keeping everyone as well informed as possible. The newspapers are full of important happenings of local and national events.

Such as a new law presented in Congress, or a law that has been passed or signed by the President, or a decision the President has made concerning foreign policies. Lately the papers have been full of information on the Sirhan case and the ABM system. The news has usually been told on television or radio already, but they don't have quite as detailed a report as a newspaper. Television and radio are both very incredible inventions because one can get the latest in news much quicker and in many cases one sees it live. There are also more people reached through these channels because it is more convenient to watch something than read about it later.

A magazine is an entirely different thing because it is full of advertisements and fiction stories as well as news. Even though advertising is in all the other news medias, there is probably more magazines. A magazine also helps a person to learn about the new style of clothes and the latest hairdos. We should all use the news SEE DEAN TOMLIN -For the Finest Selection and the Best Deals in this area on new Fords, Mercurys and all makes of used cars and trucks.
