In addition, television shows are being switched, not only in time, but in days.

Starting at 2 p. WAKR will carry a half-hour of Sammy Kaye recordings. This will be followed by the ABC show "Mr. President." Starring Edward Arnold, it features dramatizations of little-known facts about our presidents down through history. The "Treasury Band" show is heard at 3:30, followed at 4 by "Akron's Top Tunes." The records requested most often of the disc jockeys and sold over the counters determine this list of top tunes.

"Theater of Stars" has been put into the 4:30 apot. A dramatic show also, today's episode is titled "Meridian 49." Helen Walker stars in the comedy-romance. "THE U. S. This is followed by the news and then "Wren's Nest." The latter isn't good video, it's not even entertaining. However, it lasts only 15 minutes, so one can suffer through it. Next, we viewed a moth-eaten western feature film which wasn't a good show when it originally was made. Time hasn't improved it. Quality of the video reproduction made it even worse.

Hockey came on at 8:30. WNBK served little better. It too had an old movie, "House of Danger," which we saw at leant 10 years ago.
