The board voiced'approval Tuesday night of the proposed child labor law and public school law, --John Estes, chairman, said! The group Trill inform, the Allegany county delegation to\the General Assembly of its action.' Estes said the proposed car inspection bill would require a $1.200,000 band issue to set' up 27 .state- owned inspection stations. He added .each car owner would'be required to pay a SI inspection- fee each time h!s car would be inspected. • • "We feel.this would be an additional hardship on the car owners in Maryland," Estes said. The' plan he said, would cause car 'owners "great, inconvenience." He pointec out that there would be only 27 stations in the 23 counties.
