Wedn&fl&y, "October 14, 1953 1 State Farm Bureau Names Gum in on Group In Membership Drive Edwin Gtimm of RFD 3, Galesburg, has been named on a special committee organized for a new membership campaign of the Illinois Agricultural Association—the statewide Farm Bureau. Gumnj is president of the Knox County Farm Bureau and serves as a director from this district on the I.A.A. board. The drive is aimed to bring the total membership in the r .A.A. lo 200,000 farmers by Nov. 18— date of the association's annual meeting in Chicago. . Charles S. Mayfield, secretary of organization, said the I.A.A.'s membership now stands tit about 197,200. Special awards for districts, counties and individuals i> the drive arc planned for the campaign. O. D. Brisscndcn, special assistant to l.A.A. President Charles B. Shuman, heads the committee to handle arrangements for the drive.
