Arts and Crafts Fairs The Russell Christmas Crafts Show and Sale will be from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at the 4-H Building. The show, sponsored by two chapters of Beta Sigma Phi, features 75 exhibitors. Admission charge is 50 cents for persons over 14 years old. The Plainville VFW Auxiliary Arts and Crafts Fair will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at the VFW Hall in Plainville. Around 20 area hobbyists will display their wares. The Agra Craft Fair will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Agra American Legion Building. Crafts and gifts will be for sale and lunch will be served all day. There will be a soup supper in the evening. 'A World of Mime' "A World of Mime," featuring T. Daniel, Chicago, will be given at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the Brown Grand Opera House, Concordia. Daniel and his partner, Lauri Willets, provide a creative blend of mime, magic and humor in the show. Choral Concert A Marymount College Choral Concert will be given at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the college chapel. Sunday, November 22,1981 The Salina Journal Sunflower Page 3 What's ahead November 22-28 Art Exhibits Contemporary Czechoslovakian Printmakers continues at the Salina Art Center on the Kansas Wesleyan Campus through Dec. 13. The center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. Hours are 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The exhibit, a Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibit, is sponsored locally by the Evans Grain Co. The prints are on loan from the Jacques Baruch Gallery, Chicago. The Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery, Lindsborg, is featuring a three-man show by three Wichita artists — James Bartz, David Bernard 'and Robert Kiskadden. Joanne Nuss, Kansas City, Mo., also is exhibiting bronze sculptures. The gallery is open from 1-5 pm. Wednesday through Sunday. The National Photography Show continues at the Marymount College Fine Arts Gallery through Tuesday, Nov. 24. Christmas Lighting Ceremony Salina's downtown Christmas decorations will be lighted Friday, Nov. 27, in a ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Merle Hodges, the Free Spirit Singers and elementary school children will participate in the ceremony.
