College 50th made wonderful by daughters, friends , we wish to say thank you to all our relatives and friends who joined with us in celebrat- ing our 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 29. We also want to thank everyone for all the cards and the service committee for their help at the serving table and in the kitchen. A thank you to our two daughters, Barbara and Carol, for making it a wonderful day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Solberg and family 112 N. Columbia Rural fire departments did a great job We wish to thank the Gypsum, Kipp, Carlton and Assaria Rural Fire Departments who answered our 911 call on Dec. 22 at 7520 E. Assaria Road. A special thank you to Pete Kendrick and the "slim fireman", who was able to crawl under the house to get to the smoldering timbers around the floor furnace. To Dennis Cooley, Pat Weller, Qraig Stevenson, LeRoy Holcom and all others who stood by and the Sheriffs officer. You all left just before the Red Cross got here with some good, hot coffee. Again our thanks. Marion and Grace Swisher, Suzy and Charlie Wallick Grace M. Swisher Gypsum Rehab helpers, friends were good to patient Thanks to all my friends and relatives that sent me cards, flowers and came to visit while I was in the hospital. It was a wonderful lunch. The soups and chilies were delicious, as well as the crackers, cheese and vegetable trays, and desserts. You truly spoiled us. We also enjoyed and appreciated all the craft items, which you took time from your busy lives to make for us. The teachers, staff and students at Hageman Elementary School are blessed to have such a caring, committed, and dedicated parent community to support us.
