Rubenstein, a former Sharon building inspector and contractor, died yesterday in Montefiore Hospital. He was a resident of the Sharon section of the city for 60 years before moving to the Riverview Apartments in Squirrel Hill. He owned the Louis J.

Rubenstein Plumbing and Heating based in Sharon, and had been retired for 10 years. Mr. Rubenstein was president of the Mercer County Lincoln Republican Club; The Mercer County campaign chairman for former Pennsylvania Governor Arthur James; a charter member of the Pliskover Free Loan Association of Pittsburgh; and a member of the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by two daughters, Ruth Spiegel of McKeesport and Mrs. Harriette Libenson of Pittsburgh; a son, Erwin of Washington; two sisters, Mrs.

Eva Dizenfeld and Mrs. Rae Schutzer, both of Pittsburgh; a brother, Moe of Florida; and five grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Burton L. Hirsch Chapel, 2704 Murray Squirrel Hill, with visitation one hour prior to the services.

Dils, 94, was from 1928 to 1936 and School Board from 1928 of the Avalon School yesterday in the Skyvue North Side. school district secretary served on the Avalon to 1936. Prior to 1930, he worked as a bookkeeper for Reliance Steel Casting Co. Mr. Dils- was a member of the Bellevue United Methodist Church for 52 years and a resident of Avalon for 70 years.
