OSHA impact subject of innkeeper meeting A conference for management of restaurants, hotels, motels, and others in lodging and fond service is scheduled for Fort Dodge, Thursday, Feb. 21, 1 to 4:30 p.m. Site for the conference, co-sponsored by Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and the Fort Dodge Hospitality Group, is Starlite Restaurant. Carmi Spicer management specialist from Iowa State University's Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS), will provide information on the impact of OSHA regulations on those in food serving and lodging firms. Following this will be a panel including: Peter Canakes, Executive Director Iowa Restaurant Association; Johyf Brockway, Executive Direc- tor Iowa Hotel and Mo'tel Association; and Mike Olsen, ISU Extension Specialist Institutional Management* Panelists.^!! identify problem areas wh^ch currently face managewpf restaurant*, motels, hotels, and other food service and lodging firms and lead discussion on short And long range programs to help find solutions for identified problems. Plans will also be developed to provide future training for those in the food and lodging industry. fc'if .
