itself into a real "dog-fight" by the time the sun sets this evening. This afternoon the Lehenys face a splendid opportunity to make themselves "felt" in the City fight, when they entertain Immaculate Heart at Frick Park. In a second game Homestead goes to McDonald. Immaculate is the City League leader. It means a great deal for the Hearts to retain that coveted perch.

If, Immaculate loses and Homestead wins then the Hearts will still retain the leadership by a .667 average comparative to the runner-up mark of .600 which would be sported by the Lehenys. Homestead would advance to third place with .571. And Buchs. Swissvale and Dormont would be tied for fourth with .500. Almost a thousand coaches and their captains from preparatory and high schools enjoyed every minute of the fifth annual football clinic presented by the University of Pittsburgh and The Press in Pitt Stadium yesterday.

He dwelt on offensive line play, and presented the problems in that phase of football rather than the solutions.

Wade insisted that the assignments of a lineman should be grouped into three divisions to open a hole quickly, to open a hole and delay in the block, and to whip out of the line to take out the secondary. Stance also was stressed by Wade as important for various plays. Position of the player's feet for the type of play, to create proper balance and power, was another of the Duke coach's high points. He maintained a coach must realize the needs of year series with Duse University. The first game will be at Durham, N.
