Three three units are prevailing wage construction. One house and one modular in Petaluma, and one modular in Santa Rosa require remodel, renovation and handicap upgrades to the modular units. These three units are non-prevailing wage. Bona fide bidders, in this solicitation may obtain copies of the proposed construction documents, including Plans and Specifications by depositing $200.00 with the Project Architect for each set of documents, checks are to be made payable to VISIONS Enterprises for a plan deposit. A handling fee of $30.00 will be non-refundable. The remaining $170.00 of the deposit is refundable ten (10) days after bid opening, upon receiving the returned Plans and Specifications providing they are in good condition. Copies will be issued commencing March 16,2004. The Plans and Specifications are available at VISIONS (evoo-sehe) Enterprises, 968 Maraglia Street, Redding, CA; Telephone (530) 221-7032. A site visit is required prior to bidding and will be conducted by the Graton Rancheria's Housing Coordinator on March 15 and 16, 2004, commencing at 9:30 am. Bids will be accepted and opened on April 16, at 11:00 am. Retention of 10% of each progress payment shall be withheld from the Contractor's monthly payment at each request. At completion of the project 71/2% of all retention will be paid at 35 days after completion and acceptance of the work. The remaining retention of 2 1/2 percent of the Contract amount shall be withheld from the Contractor's final payment : request through- the end of the one-year warranty period. If the project(s) prove to be acceptable at the one-year warranty inspection, all retention monies will be paid to the Contractor. The solicitation is subject to the following laws and Federal HUD regulations: Non-prevailing wage, Davis-Beacon and current Prevailing Wage Davis-Beacon wage scales, Federal Executive Order 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity), Section 7(b) of the Indian Education and Self-Determination Act (25U.S.C.450e(b)). Funding for these projects are provided by HUD Block Grants and NAHASDA funds.
