Loon Stewart, aged 29, a miner formerly employed at. the Minnesota Lead company In the Duck Creek district, died about 11 o'clock on Sunday night at the residence of L. Schwanbeck, 205 Canyon street.

The cause of his death was auto-intoxictlm, resulting for -over-indulgence in cherry and egg several weeks ago, and a weak heart, to have resulted (from participating in the drilling contest in Ely on Labor day which he and L. li. Schwanbeck won. Stewart was one of a famly of 13 children ami is survived by his mother, Airs. A.

M. Stewart, of Lehi, Utah, several brothers and' sisters and probably by his father, though the latter left home about four months ago and has not been heard from since. Telegrams havp been sent to the sisters, and no disposition of the remains now at tho Kevin Graham morgue, will be made until a reply Is received. One of his brothers, Paul, was for some time and worked at the Adklns Sftables. Stewart had fcr about two weeks and was removed1 from his room at the Munro to Schwanbeck's about ten days before his death and was given the best possible attention, though the exact cause of his illness was not learned "until Saturday, when he vomited some egg.

"The fact was reported to the doctor, who, on learning egg had been given by Mrs. Schwanbeck, started an investigation. Tt was found that after coming from Duck Creek a couple of week ago Stewart had been drinking and he Is reported to have consumed 37 glasses of sherry and egg, which proved to be too much, for his digestive; organs. Failing be absorbed by his system, causing death. He did not tell of feat until It was too late to give hint proper treatment for such an 'unusual case.
