Paul Munroe, former WJAS staff announcer, is now in Hollywood conferring with Dick on the series.

Paul resigned as director-producer of Kate Smith's commercials to join Dick. Paul left WJAS in 1933 and for a time was out of radio, but finally landed back on the air with both feet on the ground. He came to Pittsburgh from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an honor student, to take up engineering with Westing-house. At the birthplace of radio hp was "bitten by the radio bug" and applied to WJAS for an audition. Jim Hughes and Howdy Clark recognized his radio voice and broke nim in as an announcer, and Paul became the ace night club announcer of Pittsburgh, often appearing in top hat and tails, although just a boy.

However, this column has made a practice of calling attention to the talented violinist, Nick Pisani, with Vincent Lopez. Nick and Vincent are as inseparable as Amos Andy and each is as important to the success of the orchestra as the other. And Vincent doesn't forget that when he makes out Nick's pay check.
