Strong, -which barred striking bakery workers of locals No. 505 and 509 from picketing 400 stores of the Specialty Bakery Owners, will be taken as soon as a formal order is signed, Samuel Mull, attorney for the unions, said today. Mr. Mull said the order would be signed tomorrow, and the union's first move would be to apply to a justice of the Appellate Division for a stay of the pending appeal.

Levy the union sought to renew the old contract in so far as it applied to wages, but the boss bakers insisted on a new scale, which would have resulted in pub-antial wage reductions in many cases. First-hand bakers would have received reduction from $72 to $50 a week, second hands from $63 to $51 and helpers from $50 to $30, accord-in? to the lawyer. Picketing in front of the shops of 10 bakeries was authorized by the union and the charges made in the present action resulted from alleged acts committed by some, of these pickets. SHIRTS to annoy the public and create a public nuisance. Picketing frequently leads to malicious mischief, and sometimes it leads to disorderly conduct and violence. "As the act complained of occurred prior to the National Recovery Act. the parties have since been given an opportunity to settle their differences under the act. This it seems is impassible.

There can be no question that the defendants have been guilty of all three charges of malicious mischief, disorderly conduct and violence, and that the so-called peaceful picketing could not be. An injunction pendente lite must therefore be granted."
