By DOROTHY DO RAN Beacon Journal Radio Editor CRITICS of radio who wail about the low level of a listening audience that enjoys daytime serials can find some encouragement in the poll conducted by the Women's National Radio committee. Results of this poll indicate that America's best-liked radio programs are those of the forum discussion type. Maybe our intelligence level isn't low after all. Topping all programs in what was the most popular classification voted upon, was America's Town Meeting of the Air, an NBC presentation over the Blue network. Other programs, contenders for top honors in this classification, were the University of Chicago Round Table of NBC; Columbia's People's Platform; Mutual's American Forum of the Air and NBC's National Radio Forum.
