August 19, 1990 The Salina Journal Weddings Mr. and Mrs. Scott Nowlin (Tracie Moore) Moore-Nowlin Tracie Ann Moore and Scott Everette Nowlin were wed Aug. 4 at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. Nathan Eason of Louisville, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Moore, 633 Magnolia Road, and Mr. and Mrs.

Johnnie D. Nowlin, 439 Otto. Musicians were Julie Jones and Dava and Laura Pierce of Salina. Maids of honor and bridesmaids were Terri Ewing of Berthoud, Tammie Moore and Vonda Nowlin of Salina, Julie Thompson of Mahaska and Heather Fulton of Colwich. Best and groomsmen were Jerry Short, Greg Lust and Corey Moye of Salina, John Ewing of Berthoud and Gavin Seiler of Mount Hope.

She majors in animal science and industry at Kansas State University and works for Jerry Moore's Midway Aviation in Salina.

Her husband, also a graduate of Salina South High and an animal science and industry major at K- State, also works for Jerry Moore's Midway Aviation. After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple are at home at 1208 Midland, Salina. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Britton (Colleen Sly) Sly-Britton Colleen Sly and Richard Britton were married July 31 at the First Christian Church, the Rev.

Her husband, a graduate of Marquette High School, received a bachelor's degree in park and recreation administration with a minor in theatre from Bethany College. He works in the Park and Recreation Department for the City of Lindsborg. After a wedding trip to Kansas City, the couple are at home in Lindsborg. Mr. and Mrs.

James Novak (Janet Engel) Engel-Novak HERINGTON The marriage of Janet Corene Engel and James Louis Novak was solemnized July 28 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Rev. Howard Batt officiating. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.

Kenneth L. Huber Jr. of Formoso and Mr. and Mrs. William R.

Novak of Lost Springs. Musicians were Shawna Klema of Oklahoma City and Ken and Melinda Martin and Robert Utech of Herington. Her husband, a graduate of Kemper Military College and Emporia State University, works for Schild Cattle and Land and is selfemployed.

4 ceremony uniting Becky Jo Marie Carter and Patrick Lane Normandin in marriage. The Rev. Dick Todd officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.
