December 1, 1985 The Pittsburgh Press C1 Attorney W.G. Barton of Squirrel Hill dies William G. Barton, 86, an attorney, died of a heart attack Friday at the Forbes Center for Gerontology in East Liberty. Mr. Barton, who had offices in the Berger Building, graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Duquesne University Law School.

He was a member of the Pittsburgh Field Club, the Pittsburgh Athletic Association and St. Bede Roman Catholic Church in Point Breeze. Mr. Barton, who lived on Wilkins Avenue in Squirrel Hill, was a member of the Duquesne University Alumni Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is survived by a niece, Ruth Young Baney of Churchill, and a nephew, Robert B.

Young of O'Hara. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the John A. Freyvogel and Sons Funeral Home, 4900 Center Oakland. A mass of Christian burial will be said at 11 a.m.

Davies, formerly of Brentwood, died Thursday of cancer. at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mr. Davies, 74, was a retired authorizer for the Veterans Administration. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, in 1932 and served in World War II and the Korean War while in the Army.

Donald B. Forsythe Donald B. Forsythe, 60, a retired purchaser for the Westinghouse Corp. Research and Development Division in Monroeville, died in St. Francis Hospital Friday of complications from a heart condition.

Mr. Forsythe, a resident of Hunker Road, East Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County; Mount Pleasant Elks Lodge No. 868; and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. "Red" Pearlman, 87, a retired Pittsburgh dentist and former University of Pittsburgh football player, died of heart failure Thursday in Hollywood, Fla. Dr. Pearlman, a member of the undefeated 1917 Pitt team under Coach Pop Warner, also played professional football and was a member of the well-known Coffee Club basketball team. He retired as a dentist in 1973 and moved to Florida. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Frank Pearlman of Hollywood.
