Page A2 Pharos-Tribune, Logansport, Indiana, Sunday, January 6, 1991 Obituaries Fr. Cornelius J. Kelly KEWANNA Services for Father Cornelius J. Kelly, 69, St. Ann's Rectory, will be held at 11 a.m.

Tuesday in St. Ann's Catholic Church. He died at 8 a.m. Saturday in his residence. Born Dec.

12, 1921, in New York City, N.Y., he was the son of Christopher and Ellen Walsh Kelly. He was a Catholic priest, and was appointed administrator of St. Ann's Parish July 1, 1983. He was a graduate of St. Angela Memorial Academy: University of Notre Dame: St.

Meinrad Seminary, St. Meinrad; and a 1953 graduate of Our Lady of the Angels Seminary, Niagara University, Niagara, N.Y. On May 26, 1953, he was ordained in Lafayette by Bishop John George Bennett. He served as an associate pastor at parishes in Anderson, West Lafayette and Marion. He served as pastor in Montpelier, Otterbein and Barrydale.

In 1961, he was appointed director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Surviving is one brother, John Patrick Kelly, New York City. Father Robert E. Moran will officiate at the service. Burial will be in St.

Ann's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at St. Ann's Catholic Church. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.

Monday in the church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements are being handled by Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home. JAN.

5, 1991 Lena F. Martin DELPHI Services for Lena F. Martin, 71, Rt. 2, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Horn Funeral Home.

She died at 3:35 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. Born Aug. 4.

1919, in Burnettsville, she was the daughter of Manford and Clara Ballard Houser. On March 12, 1938, in White County, she was married to Harvey A. Martin, who preceded in death in 1967. She worked for more than 15 years at Globe- retiring in 1981. She worked for several years at Bryan Manufacturing.

Monticello. She was a member of the Delphi Wesleyan Church and the Missionary Women of the church. She was a member of the Westside Flower Club. She was a member of the Delphi Senior Citizens. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Sue Fultz, Harrogate, and Pearl Ann Jenkins, Idaville; two sons, Thomas Martin and Terry Martin, both of Delphi; two sisters, Velva Hall, Monticello, and Beulah Rynerson, Rochester; one brother, Fred Houser, Delphi; 12 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

One son preceded her in death. The Rev. William Breidenbaugh will officiate at the service. Burial wil! be in Morning Heights Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.

A former punch press operator, she had moved from Chicago, to Star City 12 years ago and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters, Rose Korner, Winamac, and Lottie Chytla, Tempe, four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. One daughter, two sisters, five brothers and one grandson preceded her in death.

The Rev. Bert Woolson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m.

Monday at Klute-Beach-Henry Funeral Home, 200 N. 13th St. He died at 9:40 p.m. Friday in Oak Ridge Nursing Home. Born May 27, 1913, in Richmond, he was the son of William J.

and Sarah Fabey Griffin. He was raised in Richmond. He was a veteran the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was retired from Avco. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge.

Surviving are five daughters, Leslie Ramsey. Joan Tinsley and former Logansport resident Barbara Eastman, all of Richmond, Libby Medley, Sweetser, and Carole Roberts. Toledo: three sons, Gary Griffin, Richmond, John Griffin, Cambridge City, and Bill Griffin, Elkhart; one brother, William Griffin, Richmond; and 11 grandchildren. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate Elkhorn Cemetery.
