For the Record Tuesday, August 11, 1992 Herald-Zeltung, New Braunfels, Texas Page 3 Wire in brief World Rellef convoys moving again UNITED NATIONS (AP) A day before the United Nations Security Council was to act on a draft resolution authorizing military force to ensure aid deliveries in Bosnia, the world body said today supplies are suddenly getting through to besieged Sarajevo. Meanwhile, in overnight fighting in and around Sarajevo that lasted into this morning, 18 people were killed and 172 wounded, Bosnian government officials said. They also claimed a Serb police chief, Malko Koroman, surrendered along with 300 men in a village east of Sarajevo, calling it an indication Bosnian forces were making headway in their bid to break the Serb siege. TEXAS Legislature may be next step in battle AUSTIN (AP) Lawmakers and lobbyists say the Legislature may be the next arena in the battle over Barton Springs. Voters during the weekend approved a strong water quality protection initiative, but that isn't likely to end the fighting, they say.
