Tuesday, July 9, 1985 The Pittsburgh Press C5 EWTEnTAIOTJEWT wnen it comes to husbands and money, Zsa Zsa can get enougn 3mmsK Truth is, Zsa Zsa is a working woman once again, but not in show business. She has become spokeswoman, and substantial stockholder, in The Video Connection of America a franchiser of video stores that sell and rent video programs and hardware. Her boss is Bert Tenzer, who says, "Zsa Zsa will provide a personal approach between store and customer. We're using a 6-foot full-figure cardboard cut-out of her in each store. "We hope Zsa Zsa will invite customers to have a lasting relationship with their Video Connection dealer." "I may not have a good head for business, but I think I am good at selling," Zsa Zsa said.

"I represented Montgomery Ward's Auto Club for MM Mm. tsrfFSii Lounge salad while other diners stared in admiration. Zsa Zsa is just your ordinary millionairess celebrity looking for romance and excitement "There is no special man in my life right now," she lamented. "It is a record for me. Six months and I am not madly in love with someone.

There is, of course, the German prince who wants to marry me and Prince Rashad of Kuwait But who could live in such a dull place as Kuwait? "And I almost forgot the Russian prince. Of course, he doesn't live in Russia. But royalty is really not for me. I want a nice American man. But they are not so easy to find these days." Zsa Zsa observed they don't make dashing, exciting, unorthodox men as they did 20 or 30 years ago.

Love has played a more important role in Zsa Zsa's life than commerce or her career as an actress. She has fond memories of the husbands and lovers she has known. the same time," she said. "Don't tell me that women can't be that way. Half the women in Europe love their husbands but they also love their lovers.

"The two men in my life at the same time were my husband, (actor) George Sanders, and (sportsman, adventurer, diplomat Porfirio) Ru-birosa. Together they made one perfect man Ruby dashing and romantic, George intelligent and cynical George was stingy, but Ruby was generous. "Ruby was the Robin Hood of his time. He stole from the rich and gave to poor little me." Alas, George and Ruby have long been in their graves and Zsa Zsa has married a succession of successful (but by her standards, dull) American businessmen. Though she is out to dinner almost every night, Zsa Zsa has not succeeded in establishing a meaningful relationship, a term she wouldn't use if she lived to be 100.

(Zsa Zsa's age is a closely guarded secret but she's believed to be in her early 60s.) master Albert Collins lends his ax to "The Hunter," while Son Seals helps bend the wire on "I Don't Care No More." Other rousers include "Beer Bottle Boogie," "I Cried Like a Baby," "I Can Love You Like a Woman" and "Flamin' Mamie" you get the idea. The songs are different, but there's nothing much here that Miss Taylor hasn't done before it's just that she keeps doing it better and better. Another regal performance. If bluesman Albert King is the velvet bulldozer, Miss Taylor is the earthmover. "Queen" finds Miss Taylor in her usual jugular vein of high-intensity blues with her usually impeccable Blues Machine kicking along behind. A few other Chicago notables join in the fun: James Cotton blows harp on the opening "Evil," and later on "Queen Bee," which also features guitarist Lonnie Brooks. Telecaster lFishv' rhovf By Vernon Scott f. HOLLYWOOD (UPI) Zsa Zsa Gabor would like to many again, but she can't seem to find the right guy.

There are suitors aplenty, says the Hungarian-born former glamour queen, but the problem is most of tnem have titles. She would prefer to settle down for the eighth time with nice Ail-American chap, alt's not that Zsa Zsa needs the financial assets of an enormously wealthy husband, although like most Hollywood women she is not and will never be too rich nor too thin. n- Her hilltop home in Bel Air is a showcase, complete with miniature nightclub. And there are, assuredly, enough sparklers in her bank vault to finance the annual budget of a European dutchy. Gearly, Zsa Zsa is not seeking security.

"If so, dahlink, I would marry one of the men who ask me frequently," she said, daintily disposing of a Polo Flashcats, By Jim White The Pittsburgh Press Not many of the big band rhythm and blues singers of the 1940s and '50s survived the rock revolution of the '50s, and even fewer are left today. One who apparently hadn't survived was Benjamin Bull Moose" Jackson, a blues shouter who recorded mostly in the late 1940s. One of his most popular recordings, "I Love You, Yes I Do," sold a million copies in 1947 (no mean feat in those days) and had considerable impact on both pop and markets. But, like many others of his era, Jackson was rolled by rock into an early obscurity from which he failed to return until two years ago. That's when a Pittsburgh band rcalled the Flashcats, which had been ihappily covering such Jackson gems tas Nosey Joe" and "Big Ten Inch Record," learned he was alive, if not flourishing, as a food service employee at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

The band brought him to Pittsburgh for several shows and reopened his career at the age of 66 (including a spot in New York City's Kool Jazz Festival and a tour with European dates). It also backs him on a new album of good old-fashioned, big-band-flavored i "Moosemania" on Bogus Records a spirited revival with some Album to benefit Stephanie Mills, Cameo and Kur-lis Blow are among the artists performing on the album "Hot D.LS.C," the latest pop music fund-raiser, i "D.I.S.C." stands for "Doin" It for Sickle Cell," and all proceeds from -the $5.95 album (available on cassette) will be donated to the National Association for Sickle Cell Disease. "We have 300 licensed video stores and we hope to open more around the country. I may make a tour of Europe, but the company will have to provide me with a lot of new clothes and things." Zsa Zsa says she has re-entered commerce because she wants: to increase the size of her nest egg. It is certainly less trouble in the long run than marrying another rich man. "I like to make money, but I enjoy spending it more. And I never learned how to invest it "But money isn't as important as being happy, so I probably will get married again if I can find the right man.

Forest Hills 1985 Tearle Health Services, Inc. II 'Bull Moose' REVIEW surprisingly good original tunes by Jackson and Flashcat members, plus a few of the songs that hit for Jackson nearly 40 years ago. "Get Off the Table Mabel," "Hey Moose, Hey Miss," "Shiny Diamonds," the bluesy "Time Bomb" and "You Been Doing to Him What I Wish You Were Doing to Me" are lighthearted, horn-driven styl- ings behind Jackson's still proficient vocals. Real old-timers include "Oh! John," "Miss Lucy," and from the now-defunct Liberty Lounge on West Liberty Avenue, live recordings of "Big Fat Mamas Are Back in Style Again" and "Big Ten Inch Record," with its double entendre intact. As the titles indicate, this is not exactly music with a profound mes sage.

The album is, however, a nice one for collectors, old fans, and Bull Moose buffs. It's not an unassuming title "Queen of the Blues" (Alligator 4740) -but neither is Koko Taylor an unassuming blues singer. She shouts, belts, snarls and growls the blues in a voice that's pure electric sandpaper. The only truly quiet moments on this new album are between the tracks.
