Additional obituaries B7 B6 MONMOUTH FRANK D. FISH, 78, of OCEANPORT, died Tuesday, July 13, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Before retiring in 2001 he was associated with the Norwood Agency, Long Branch, for 19 years.

He was a graduate of Seton Hall University and he started his professional career with the Hartford Insurance Co. in the early 1950s. He worked for the firm of W. H. Hintelmann, Rumson, from 1955 until 1971, when he founded the Frank D.

Fish Agency, Long Branch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was a charter member of the Jaycees, Red Bank, and was a member of the Rotary Club of Red Bank. He was an avid golfer who spent many happy days with his golf buddies at Old Orchard Country Club, Eatontown.

His sense of humor will be missed; if you knew him, he made you laugh. Mr. Fish was born in Montreal, Canada, and was raised in Kearny before moving to Monmouth County over 50 years ago. He was predeceased by his parents, James L. and Josephine Fish; a sister, Ruth; two sons-in-law, Louis B.

Konow and James P. Connor; and a grandson, Morgan Konow. Surviving are his beloved wife, Mary Jayne Fish; two sons, Frank D. Fish Jr. of Niskayuna, N.Y., and Thomas D.

Born in the Ukraine, she came to the United States in 1968 and lived in West Long Branch before moving to Eatontown three years ago. MAROTTA, 53, of EATONTOWN, died Thursday, July 8, of stomach cancer at St. Barnabas Hospice, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in St.

Albans, N.Y., Mr. Marotta lived in France, Germany and Maryland before moving to Eatontown in the 1960s. He received a bachelor's degree in music from Huron College, South Dakota, and a master's degree in teaching and learning from Nova Southeastern University. A devoted husband and father, he possessed a dynamic personality and zest for life that will be sorely missed by those who knew him. A talented musician, Mr.

Marotta performed in several area bands, including FDR Drive and The Tides. He was a gifted teacher who began his career at Frank Antonides Elementary School, West Long Branch, where he taught for eight years. He then developed and performed musical assembly programs at elementary schools throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for 15 years. He returned to teaching in the 1990s and worked at Hersh High School, Tinton Falls, and Hugh J. Mount Elementary School, Seaside Heights.

He began working for the Middletown school system in 1998, where he taught instrumental music at the Fairview, Harmony and Nut Swamp elementary schools and also served as assistant band director for Middletown High School South. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Doris Marotta. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Anfuso; two sons, Devan and Ross; a daughter, Valerie, all at home; a sister, Nona DeFelice, her husband, Robert, and their children, Rob and Nina of Lincroft; and a brother, Douglas of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in Asbury Park before moving to Neptune and was a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Sasso, in 1989. Surviving are two daughters, Claire Jamison and JoAnn Hamm, both of Neptune; eight grandchildren; 16 grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. He was a communicant of Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Bradley Beach, and a member of the church choir and also played drums. He was much loved and will be missed.

He was predeceased by his mother, Gillian Hutchins Stevenson, in 2000. Surviving are his father, Erik Stevenson of West Belmar; a brother, John Stevenson of Stuart, his half brother, Robert Pleasant Jr. of Mesa, a sister, April Kinbather of Wanamassa, Ocean Township; and several nieces and nephews including, Brian Dellafave, with whom he was especially close. Born in Athens, Ohio, she resided in Little Falls before moving to Toms River in 1960. Mrs. Chamberlain was an aide for Ocean County Visiting Homemakers of Toms River for several years, retiring many years ago. She was a member of AARP and the Holiday City Seniors, Toms River. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Feldman.

Surviving are her son, George Chamberlain of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren. and Filagree Foods, both in Newark, retiring in 1981. He was a World War II Army veteran at the Battle of Normandy. He was a member of the Beach Heaven Social Club. He was a raconteur of extraordinary ability. He could deliver a song and dance upon request and left everyone laughing.

To know him was to love him. Born in Newark, he resided in Clifton before moving to Forked River in 1983. He was predeceased by his wife, Elenora Crotty. Surviving are his fiancee, Luella Regenthal; a sister, Eileen Crotty; two nephews, Kevin and Dennis Crotty; and four nieces, Patsy, Judy, Diane, and Lecia. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

MATHEW KINSELLA, 81, of TOMS RIVER, a native of Staten Island, World War II veteran and retired longshoreman, died Monday, July 12, at home. Born in Rosebank, he moved to Toms River 17 years ago. Mr.

Kinsella attended Curtis High School. After high school, at the age of 18, he began working for the Civilian Conservation Corps in Washington state. In 1941 and 1942, Mr. Kinsella worked as a backtender for the former Louis DeJonge Paper Rosebank. During World War II, from 1943 to 1945, he served as a corporal in the Army's 505th Engineer Corps, stationed in France, England, Belgium and Germany.

Mr. Kinsella served as a chaplain for the Sgt. Michael Labetti Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a post he helped found, according to his family. He worked as a longshoreman for 39 years, from 1945 his retirement in 1984, for the New York Shipping Association, Mariners Harbor. was a member of the International Longshoreman's Association.

A sports fan, Mr. Kinsella was particularly fond of baseball. He also enjoyed gardening. For many years, Mr. Kinsella and his wife, the former Emily Wacker, were foster parents for the Catholic Home Bureau, caring for eight children prior to their placement in adoptive homes.

He also was a volunteer recreation assistant at various nursing homes in Toms River. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Emily; two sons, Mathew and Thomas; his two daughters, Lynn Nelson and Kinsella; a brother, Michael; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. today at Richmond Funeral Home, 2052 Richmond Road, Grant City, Staten Island. The arrangements include cremation and entombment of ashes in Brig.

Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. DOMINICK A. LUMMINO, 82, of BRICK, died Tuesday, July 13, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.

He was a supervisor at Volco Brass Copper Kenilworth, for 46 years, retiring in 1984. He was a World War II Army veteran and attained the rank of corporal. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Brick, and a former member of the Brick Elks. He was a communicant of Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Brick. Born in Kenilworth, he lived there before moving to Brick 20 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Kelley Lummino; a daughter, Pat Sheaffer of Long Valley, who is last surviving child of seven children; and two grandchildren, Kevin and Harry Sheaffer. Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick. The service will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Born in Montclair, he lived in Kearny before moving to Manahawkin in 1995. Mr. McDowall worked in the Kearny Police Department for 21 years, retiring as a captain in 1995. He was a member of the PBA Local 21, Kearny. He was predeceased by three brothers, James, Thomas and David.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Agnes Phillips McDowall; his mother-in-law, Mary A. Ryan of Manahawkin; two sons, William F. and his wife, Carrieanne, of Manahawkin, and Michael A. and His wife, Mau- reen, of Lyndhurst; a daughter, Kathleen R. Doyle and her husband, Steven, of Manahawkin; a brother, Robert of Barnegat; a sister, Linda Turbitt of Morganville, Marlboro; and three grandchildren, Max and Jack Doyle, and Tyler McDowall.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps as an MP. Born in Seaside Heights, he was a lifelong resident of Toms River and South Toms River. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Gladys Frezee Menke; four sons, Ronald and Robert, both of Rogers, Henry Jr. of Hackettstown, and Edward of Beachwood; four daughters, Nancy Gallegan, Donna Menke, and Laurie VanNote, all of Toms River, and Patricia Peterson of South Toms River; a brother, Russell Menke of Ocean Gate; 19 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
