NOT AT ALL TO HIS LIKING Wayneshurg Gives Wesleyan a Battle Clarksburg, W. Va-, Sept West Virginia Wesleyan college met a tartar In the revamped Waynesbura; College here this afternoon and barely managed to nose out the winner when Welhl punched through center for the deciding counter In the final period. Wesleyan threatened In every period except the first, but lost out when costly fumbles came. Waynes burg uncorked a vicious drive in the final' moments and ran the ball with a baffling aerial attack to the Wei-leyan nine-yard line, where Dietrich intercepted a long heave by Pord and ran the ball back to mldfield. The two team battled on an even basis through the first period, after that the Tellow Jackets were on the defensive; Wood.

Giant Waynesburg tackle, and Welhl, Wesleyan field general, were the stars of the game.
