He will be the guidance replac- Donald Bennink, who left this year' for Boone High School. His duties include counseling students in their educational and Vocational plans and conducting the stale tests our student body accntiy finished. Ericksen is a conscientious young man, indeed. He went without lunch last week while conducing the Iowa Tests of Educational Jevelopmcnt, so he could be available to students for possible ques- ions.

After attending high school in lumboldt through the ninth grade Eiickscn transferred to Cedar Falls. He received his Bachelor's Degree at State College of Iowa in Cedar Falls and did his graduate work at State University of Iowa, Iowa City. Before ecoming to Humboldt, Mr. Ericksen counseled four years at North Scott High School, Eldridge, Iowa. Mr.

Ericksen was asked for his opinion of the new school and replied, "It is a very well designed, well thought out plant. It has many interesting features, not the least of which is the cool, cool air."
