He was a truck driver for Smith Transport Elizabeth, for many years, retiring in 1974. He was a veteran of the Army Calvary, and a member of the Teamsters Union Locals 560 and 478.

Mr. Voorhees was born in Melbourne and lived in Irvington before moving to Leonardo 21 years ago. His son, Donald H. Voorhees, died in 1984. Surviving are his wife, Mary Kubizna Voorhees; a son, Richard A.

He was an account examiner for Prudential Insurance Newark, for 47 years before retiring in 1975. He was a gold card member of the Musicians Union, Elizabeth and Newark. Mr. Barber was born in Newark and live in Fanwood before moving to Berkeley 15 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn E.
