Asbury Park Press Saturday, April 18, 1992 A7 Obituaries DEATHS Kipaul Liou, porcelain painter MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP Kipaul Liou, 91, a former professor and artist, died Wednesday at Community Medial Center, Toms River. He was a professor of architecture and art at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, Middletown Township. But Mr. Liou was better known locally for his Chinese porcelain paintings, which were exhibited throughout the United States and in China. Some of his painted porcelain pieces are also on display at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton.

He taught the art of Chinese painting and architecture at Nanking's Central University and Hang-Shoa's National Fine Arts University. He was a graduate of Lecole National Des Beaux Arts of Paris, and the University of De Paris. Mr. Liou was born in Canton, China, and came to the United States in 1947, and lived in New York and in Jackson Township for 25 years before moving to Crest-wood Village, Whiting, Manchester in 1978. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Pan Liou, and two daughters, Mary Ann Wong, Edison Township, and Elaine Liou, San Francisco.

Aaron Cremation Associates, Whiting, is in charge of arrangements. Surviving is a brother, John Pawlow-ski, Toms River. Lakewood Funeral Home, Howell Township, is in charge of arrangements. PETER W.ZUORICK, 76, of Crest-wood Village, Whiting, MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a conductor and train master for the Central Railroad of New Jersey, Jersey City, for more than 35 years, retiring in 1978.

He was general chairman for the Brotherhood of Conductors and Brakesmen, Jersey City, a member of the Monmouth County Transportation Board, and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Whiting. Mr. Zuo-rick was born in Jersey City and lived there most of his life and in Matawan before moving to Whiting in the the early 1970s. Surviving are his wife, Olga Jean Bo-ryk Zuorick; two sons, George, Ridgefield Park, and Danny, Jackson Township, and two grandchildren.

Balzak was born in Mlawh, Poland, and lived in Jersey City before moving to Berkeley in 1976. Surviving are his wife, Lottie Piat-kowski Balzak; a son, Stanley Balcerzak, Manalapan Township; a brother, Benjamin Balcerzak, Toms River; a sister, Helen Truax, Toms River, and two grandchildren. Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements, LOUIS J. BERZANSKIS, 83, of Manahawkin, STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday at South Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was an assembler at the Singer Company, Elizabeth, for over 34 years before retiring in 1973.

He was a member of the Singer 25-Year Club; the Holy Name Society of St. Peter and St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth; the Knights of Lithuania, and a member of the Pioneer Club of Elizabeth. Mr. Ber-zanskis was born in Lithuania and came to America as a child and settled in Elizabeth, and lived there most of his life before moving to Manahawkin in 1978.

Surviving are three brothers, Joseph Westfield; Frank Delray Beach, 'and Jerry Spring Hills, two sisters, Joan Hanlon, Manahawkin, with whom he lived, and Anne Pundt, Readington Shores. Mrs. Dunigan was born in Hamilton Township and lived most of her life in Toms River. Her husband, Francis died in 1971. Surviving are three sons, Raymond, Round Rock, Texas; Francis T. Hixson, and James, Manchester; a sister, Dorothy Pesch, Trenton; 12 grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren.

Feeney was born in Paterson and lived there most of her life before moving to Toms River in 1965. Surviving are her husband, John two sons, Henry, Houston, and John H. Totowa; a daughter, Ruth Ann Hof-mann, Austin, Texas; a brother, Charles Huntington, Paterson; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. LAMSON, 77, of Ma nahawkin, STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was a service representative for New Jersey Natural Gas Long Beach Island, Long Beach Township, for 23 years, retiring in 1969, and was a real estate salesman for Shapiero Brothers Realty. He was a Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Ocean Acres Country Club, Manahawkin. Mr. Lamson was born in New Haven, and lived in Long Beach Island before moving to Manahawkin in 1947.

Surviving is his wife, Veronica Dow-ling Lamson. Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, Manahawkin, is in charge of arrangements. JAMES B. LEONARD, 80, of WARETOWN, died Thursday at home.

He was a warehouse worker with Local 701, North Brunswick Township, for many years retiring in 1971. After his retirement, he was a security guard at McRoberts Protective Agency, Brick Township, from 1989-1991. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Barnegat Township. Mr.

Leonard was born in Newark and lived in South Brunswick Township before moving to Waretown in 1971. His wife, Jeanie Leonard, died in 1981. Surviving are a son, James, Al-pharetta, a daughter, Jeanie Leonard, Waretown; three brothers, Edward, Florida; Roy, Lakewood, and Robert, Jersey City; a sister, Anne Bossa, Jersey City, and two grandchildren. Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River, Lacey Township, is in charge of arrangements. ANTONINA NEVERKA MEZZANOTTE, 78, of JACKSON TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.

Mrs. Mezzanotte, known as "Tina," was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Jackson, and the Sisterhood of the church. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1730, Jackson; a former volunteer at Kimball Medial Center, and was involved in various activities with the Jackson Senior Citizens Center, Jackson. Mrs.

Mezzanotte was born in the Bronx and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Jackson in 1965. Her husband, Michael, died in 1976. Surviving are two sons, John, Enfield, and Dennis, Fair Lawn; a daughter, Kathryn Munch, Jackson; a brother, John Neverka, Wantagh, N.Y.; a sister, Helen Scuderi, Rochelle Park, and four grandchildren. AMELIA SKALECKI, 83, of JACKSON TOWNSHIP, died Monday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mrs. Skalecki was born in Brooklyn and lived in New York and Lakewood before moving to Jackson three years ago. Asbury Park Press his handiwork in this a 1981 graduate of Red Bank Regional High School, and a 1985 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, N.Y. He entered the Navy and earned his wings as a Naval aviator in July 1987.

He was then assigned to Naval Air Station Miramar, California. He earned several awards, including the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with Bronze Star. Lt. Waterbury was born in Red Bank and was a resident of Little Silver. Surviving are his father, William, Key West, his mother, Elsie, Little Silver; two brothers, John, Key West, and West Monmouth Baptist Church 255 Highway 33 Freehold (1 mile west of me.

For Information call 477-0463 ROSE CIAMBRONE, 87, of LONG BRANCH, died Thursday at her home. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Mrs. Ciambrone was born in Brno, Czeckoslovakia, and had been a life resident of Long Branch. Her husband, Gregorio, died in 1978.

Surviving are two daughters, Florence Lombardi, Clark, and Virginia Tice, Brick Township, and three grandchildren. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements. JAMES A. GALLAGHER, of BELMAR, died Thursday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was a ticket agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad at the Sea Girt Train Station for many years, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of the U.S. Olympic Soccer team and participated in the 1928 Olympic games in Amsterdam, Holland. He was a communicant of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, Belmar; a member of the Pat Joyce Association, Wall Township; the Belmar Elks Lodge 1997, and the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Thomas U.

Reilly Council 5611, Spring Lake. Mr. Gallagher was born in Kearny and lived in Belmar since 1932. His wife, Irene Paternoster Gallagher, died in 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Madeleine Kelley, Belmar; a brother, Peter Gallagher, and a sister, Ann Sibole, both of Neptune; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Reilly Funeral Home, Belmar, is in charge of arrangements. DONALD P. JADLOWSKI, 55, of Putney, whose father lives in HAZLET TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at home. He was an auxiliary operator at Vermont Yankee, Vernon, for the past 19 years. Prior to that, he worked at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Forked River, Lacey Township.

He was a Coast Guard veteran during the Korean War, and a graduate of Bayonne High School. Mr. Jadlowski was born in Jersey City and lived in Bayonne before moving to Putney. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Barbara Bench Jadlowski; two daughters, Michele DuHanel, New Boston, N.H., and Sharon Johnson, Putney; his father, Peter, Hazlet, and his mother, Jean Matlosz Jadlowski, Bayonne, and one grandchild. THERESA K.S. KELLY, 92, of SOUTH BELMAR, died yesterday at King Manor Care Center, Neptune. She was a self-employed real estate broker in Belleville and South Belmar for 35 years. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Spring Lake; a member of the Essex County Board of Realtors; a member and past president of the Ladies Lions of Belmar, and a volunteer for the Red Cross during World War II.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Newark and lived in Belle-vie before moving to South Belmar 35 years ago. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dennis Sheehan; her second husband, Joseph Kelly, and a son, James Francis Sheehan. Surviving are a daughter, Maureen Parks, Wyckoff; two sisters, Anna Bozozzo, Nassau, Bahamas, and Catherine Pavine, San Louis Or-bispo, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. JOSE M. TORRES, 92, of HOWELL TOWNSHIP, died Thursday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was employed by Roehrs Nursery, Farmingdale, for many years, retiring 20 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Veronica's Roman Catholic Church, Howell.

Mr. Torres was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, and lived in Buffalo, N.Y., before moving to Howell in 1949.
