Cather- IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROBERT L. IVES, Dear Robbie: Do we have to wake up today? Today it is especially difficult to breathe. It is the fifth anniversary of your death. Yes, you are dead! There we said it! We always have a subtle way of describing it (i.e. left us, passed on, transcended).

The true fact of the matter is that you are gone. Every day we think of you but we manage to get through the day by keeping busy with our daily chores. Truly, the pit in our stomach remains and the tears still flow. We do have happy moments but that's it-- moments. Nothing is the same.

Our family has been pulled apart and changed forever. The times we get together still highlight the fact that you are missing. No one needs to say it-- we just see it on Mom and Dad's face. So much has changed in 5 years and you have been robbed of being a part of any of it. Mom and Dad now own a liquor store.

Kim and Vinny have a daughter, Brielle, and a son, Vincent Robert. Karey and Ron have two little girls, Ashley and Madison. Kelly will be getting married this fall to your new brother-in-law, Tommy. Even your baby sister, Kristy, is all grown up and living on her own. She is experiencing the city life while working for Lord Abbett.

We can only imagine who you would have become and what you would be doing now. Sadly, we will never know. We count the days til we can be together again. Your Loving Family Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2900 W. Bangs Neptune.
