Armstrong died Wednesday in a Midland hospital following an illness. A resident of Midland since 1963, she was a member of the Ajitioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Arbclla Jackson, of Midland: two sisters, Claudia Johnson and Pearl Harnage, both of Midland: and a brother, James Armstrong of Midland. Ewe! W. Austin LEVELLAKD will be at 2 p.m.

today at the First Assembly of God Church here for Ewel Wesley Austin, 69, of Houston, who died Wednesday in Houston. The Rev. Charles Gibson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery by George Price Funeral Home. Services earlier had been tentatively set for the Price Funeral Home Chapel.

Austin had lived in Levelland but moved in 1955 to Houston. He is survived by two ters, Mrs. Willie Goode of Lev- clland and Mrs. Richard Winans of Houston; two brothers, Troy Austin of Hamlin and Leo Austin of Houston; and five grandchildren. trustee of the First Christian Church, on the school board from 1946 to IMS, on the National Grain Dealers' Association in 1946 and 1947 and Slaton first Man of the Year in 1949.

A charter member of Amarillo's Khiva Temple since 1919, he was a member of the Com- mandery at Plainview ami the Masonic Lodge at Slaton. Memorials may be made tc the Mercy Hospital Foundation Fund.
