With a winning count of 218169, Fred North defeated Mrs. Elizabeth Harmon for a 3-year term on the Santa Cruz Valley Union High School Board in Eloy. Incumbent Joanne Lewallen was re-elected to her post on the Toltec Elementary School board, scoring 115 votes. She was followed by Alton L. Miller, 52, and M.

T. LaPrade, 23. The Sacaton elementary school post was taken by newcomer E. L. Thompson with 26 votes.

H.Felix Roicb Foremoi Dies ot 52 FLORENCE A mass will be said for Alex H. Felix, 52, a lifelong resident of Florence who died Sunday in Pinal General Hospital, at 8 p.m. today in the Church of the Assumption. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) in the Cole and Maud Mortuary here.

Burial will be in the Florence Cemetery. Mr. Felix was a ranch foreman for many years on the Lewis-McFarland Ranch near here. Survivors include his wife, Evangeline; two sons, Alex Jr. and Henry James, both of Florence; his mother, Mrs.

Ramona Felix of Florence; three brothers, Dick and Pete of Florence, and Ed of Beltsville, Md; and two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Moresco of Mesa, and Mrs. Susie Sotomayor of Gilbert. Sara Walker Last Rites Set COOLIDGE Services for Mrs. Sarah Margaret Walker, 78, a 40-year Coolidge resident who died Monday in Hoemako Hospital, Casa Grande, were at 2 p.m.

today in the United Methodist Church here. Burial was in Valley Memorial Park. Mrs. Walker was born in Boulder, and came to Arizona in 1920. She taught school in Safford and later in Gilbert before moving to Coolidge in 1930.

He was a prospector at one time, painter, and worked on the Hoover Dam at the time core drilling began in Black Canyon. He was extremely proud of a personal letter from President Richard Nixon dated Feb. 28, 1970. The letter stated, in part, "one of your friends recently sent me several newspaper clippings that told of your great spirit as you celebrated the significant milestone of your 96th birthday. Hecla Joins AMA CASA GRANDE Hecla Mining of Wallace, which is expected to become a major state copper producer when it brings the big Lakeshore mine south of here into production, has become the 13th member of the Arizona Mining Association. Acceptance of Hecla's application for membership has been formally approved by the association's board of directors, which also elected James H. Hunter, Lakeside project manager for Hecla, to membership on the board.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 10 a.m. in the Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix for C. W. (Clatie) Caywood, well- known educator, who died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, Phoenix, Services will be conducted by Rev.

Frederick L. Cromer and the Masonic Funeral Committee. Mr. Caywood was a native of Stillwater, Okla. He came to Arizona in 1928.

He served as Superintendent and Coach of the Florence High School from 1931 until 1946. He then served as assistant to Superintendent of Public Instruction in Phoenix from 1946 until 1951. He was a 1941 graduate of Arizona State University, Tempe. Prior to his death, he was an insurance, agent. He was.

a member of the Masonic Lodge, Florence and AM No. member of the Tucson Scottish Rite and the El Zaribah Shrine. He is survived by his wife, Cathryn of Phoenix; his son, William J. Caywood, San Francisco, his brothers, Wally and Harold, both of Phoenix, Lester of Stroud, and his sister, Mrs. Minnie Ellis, Phoenix.

Burial will be in the family cemetery on the McGee Ranch in Tucson. The family prefers contributions to the Blood Bank, EJ Zaribah Shrine or Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held this Friday at 10 a.m. in Cole and Maud Chapel for Jimmy L. McGee, 55,641 W.

Ocotfllo, who died Oct. 4 in Pinal General Hospital, Florence. Mr. McGee was born Aug. 14, 1915 in Gay, Okla.

A farm laborer, he had lived in Casa Grande for 23 years. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGee, Casa Grande; two brothers and four sisters, all out of state. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
