Immediately following ithe graduation exercises the graduates will lay away their caps and and speed to the Titanian Hall for the Graduates' Dance to make merry. at the end of their high school days. Several hundred members of the school and set will be in attendance for the occasion which has' been looked forward to with much by the younger social set of Aiken. A. at- Pickens on Tuesday en route to the State Board meeting Kitchen Shower for Bride-to-Be A'lovely party was the kitchen shower given by Mrs. Timmerman, Saturday afternoon at her home in North Augusta honoring Miss 'Grace Thomas, bride-elect of June. The guests were met by" Miss Marian Thomas. Miss Vivian Hutchesbn was in charge of the recipe book in which each guest wrote her favorite recipe for the honor guest.

Mrs. J. Weekley was given the prize for solving the greatest number of words in a jumble contest. 'Little Eleanor Weekley, in-red and white organdie, came in drawing a red and white wagon filled 'with the shower gifts. IThc hon'oree was attractively gowned in pale blue dotted swiss with rows of cream lace insertion.

R. sabre to Marion Smoak. of Aiken who will be awarded this State D. A R. trophy for the best all-round student attending.

The Citadel this year. Mrs. Marshall will accompany Mrs. Chafee to Aiken today wfiere she comes present the local D. A.

R. Medal of Good Citizenship at the commencement exercises to be held this evening at the High School auditorium. The winner of this prized trophy will not be announced until Mrs. Marshall's appearance on the stage to deliver the medal to the recipient.
