BRYAN, 76, of BRICK TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, East Orange. He was a warehouseman for Technology, Kearny, for 25 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kearny, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.

Mr. Bryan was born in Harrison and lived in North Arlington before moving to Brick eight years ago. OCEAN His son, Richard, died in 1985. Surviving are his wife, Dolores; a son, Stephen, Brick; a brother, Jerome, Long Branch; and a sister, Jean Wardell, Highlands. Colonial Funeral Home, Brick Township, is in charge of arrangements.

Weis, Woodbridge Township; a sister, Julia Waltch, Point Pleasant; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Hassail was born in Trenton and had lived in Lawrenceville most of her life. Her husband, James, died in 1971.

Surviving are two sons, James, Forked River, and Richard, Tampa, her companion, Nicholas Cordas; sister, Barbara Martell, Trangle, two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. He was a mason for Mannik and Sons, and was also a maintenance worker at Excel Wood, both of Lakewood, before retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Estonian Veterans Legion.

LINDNER, 90, of LAKEWOOD, died Tuesday at home. She was a mender for a knitting factory in Perth Amboy for 25 years, retiring in 1965. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Brick Township, and a member of the Old Guard of Greater Point Pleasant Women's Auxiliary. Mrs.

Lindner was born in Freiburg, Germany, and came to the United States in 1926, living in East Orange, Edison Township and in Point Pleasant before moving to Lakewood five years ago. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Alfred two sons, John Hoffer, Riverdale, N.Y., and Alvin Lindner, Benecia, a daughter, Joyce Skico, of New York; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a police officer with the New York City Police Department for 25 years, retiring in 1979. After his retirement, he worked as an investigator for the taxation division of the New York State Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms until 1988. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran, and a member of the Emerald Society. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Marines on Guam, and a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson.

Mr. McCarthy was born in Brooklyn and lived there before moving to Jackson eight months ago. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Clark McCarthy; two sons, Daniel New Rochelle, N.Y., and Donald Levittown, N.Y.; a daughter, Margaret A. Mr. Watson was also a professional tap dancer, once performing with his brothers at the St. James, Rialto and Paramount Theaters in Asbury Park, the Apollo Theater in Harlem, and the Laurel in the Pines Hotel, the Grossman Hotel and the Buckwald Restaurante, all in Lakewood.
