In the first contest, the Red Raiders ran up a 16-4 lead on the Neptune Barbers in the first period and increased it to 28-15 at the half. If they win, the Bruins can't get worse than a tie for first place and they'll have three more games in which to pick up one more point and clinch the title. A Toronto victory still would leave the Bruins with a slight advantage, altho the teams would be tied on points, for Toronto will have only two contests after tonight.
