She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Brower and his wife Kyoko of Spring, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Heather, Meaghan, Cheryl Neil, Sara, Becky, Brenda, Waylon, Krystal, Austin and Kyle; and four greatgrandchildren. 6, 2010, at home. Wesley was born in Manhattan, but lived most of his life in Neptune. He was 59 years old. Wesley was one of Jehovah's Wit nesses and a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses for 44 years. He was last employed at UBS Financial Banking.

He was predeceased by his father, George W. Mayo. Surviving are his beloved mother, Virgie Mayo; his brother, Clifford Mayo his nephew, Clifford Mayo nieces, Tiffany Mayo, Amber Mayo, and Ashleigh Mayo; a great-niece, Tatiana Mayo; along with a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joan was born in Asbury Park and raised in Neptune City. She lived in the shore area most of her life. Joan resided in Williston, Fla. for 15 years before moving back to Wall in 2006. She was a waitress at Vic's Pizzeria, Bradley Beach.

NICOLE MARIE GUNN AGE: 33 HOLMDEL Nicole Marie Gunn, 33, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel, after a long illness. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. As a young girl, Nicole was al ways happy and smiling. She fought a courageous fight with her illness for many years.

May she rest in peace. She was predeceased by her loving sister, Toniann Gunn, in 2008. Surviving are her father, Anthony Gunn and his wife Kristine of Palm City, formerly of Ocean Township; her moth er, Lilyanne Fiore Gunn and her partner Kevin Rynn of Middletown; grandmoth er, Theresa Gunn of Jupiter, uncles, Joseph Gunn and wife Marie of Jupiter, and Robert Fiore of Staten Island, N.Y.; her aunt, Debra Bertone of Bridgewater; and a step brother, Shawn of Palm City, Fla. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

He is survived by his son, James Davis of PA; his mother, Janet Hall of Wall; his sister and her companion, Jacqueline Hall and Robert Beverly of Neptune; his brothers, John Hall of Wall, Robert and his wife Laurie Hall of Neptune, and Bernard and his wife Michelle Gortner of Griffen, many nieces and neph ews and great-nieces and great nephews. MARTHA "PEGGY" PATTERSON HUNT AGE: 98 BRIELLE Martha "Peggy" Patterson Hunt, 98, of Brielle, passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at her home with her family by her side. Martha was born in New York City and raised in the Philadelphia area. Peggy taught art classes from kindergarten to 8th grade at Pleasantville Board of Ed. She was past president of Central School PTA 1948- 1950 and former president of the South Monmouth County Auxiliary of Family and Children Services.

Peggy was a member of St Michael's Episcopal Church, Glendola and Man spring Lake Heights in 1980. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Moynihan Chappie, in 1991. Surviving are his second wifem Eliza beth Starr Chappie of 14 years; son, Daniel Chappie of Marco Island, and Kenneth Chappie and his wile Lea of Trumbull, stepchildren, Chris tine Fetzer and her husband Don of Sea Girt, Patricia Starr of Manasquan, and Thomas Starr and his wife Sharon of Durham, Conn sister, Marie Richter of Port Jefferson Station, Long Is land, N.Y.; four grandchil dren, iPatrick Chappie and BIS' wife Uicole, Jennifer Cusimano and her husband Steve, Kelly Chappie and her fiance Ryan Stone, and Christopher Chappie; a great-granddaughter, Isa- "belle Grace; and nine step grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Brandon, Derrick and Timothy Fetzer, Ryan and Spencer Arnold, and John and Leah Starr. DARIEN JOHN "JAY" CHREPTA AGE: 55 FORMERLY OF NEPTUNE Darien John "Jay" Chrepta, 55, of Rochester, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Rochester Methodist Hospital, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Neptune and attended Providence College and graduated from the presti gious Newhouse -School of Communications of Syra cuse University in New York.

Following graduation, he embarked on a career in radio news. Jay met his wife, Jocelyn at WNEW-FM in New York City, where both worked in the news room. The couple moved to the Boston area in 1986 and settled in Brookline, Mass. after they married in 1989. Jay worked as a media and communications specialist at the Harvard Business School and the Massachu setts Institute of Technolo gy.

He was also active as a producer and broadcaster at WBZ, the flagship CBS Ra dio station in Boston, and was a producer at WGBH, the leading television station for the Public Broadcasting System. Jay was al so involved on an employed and volunteer basis as 'a communications specialist and webmaster for several non-profit organizations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2006, Jay, Jocelyn, and their two children, Valerie and Benjamin relocated with their extended family to Rochester, Minn. In Rochester, Jay worked as an independent media specialist producing educational web-based materials for the Mayo Clinic. Jay also served as morning news producer at KAAL-TV in Austin, during which time he won an Emmy Award for best morning news show in 2007.

Most recently, he was a news producer at KMSP-TV (Fox 9) for the morning show in Eden Prairie. Jay is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Woog; his children, Valerie and Benjamin; his parents, Metro and Eugenia; his brothers, Chris and wife Gay, John and wife Sheri, Michael, Stephen and wife Stephanie, and Justin and wife Laura; his sister, Anne and husband Dan; and 12 nieces and nephews. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School (class of '58), Carole received degrees from Upsala College and Brookdale Community Col lege. While providing a home for her children, Caro le became an entrepreneur, owning and operating the Shirt Works. Carole found many lifelong friends work ing at Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Newark, and Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Carole was a life member of the Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh and their Sister hood.

During her retirement years, Carole volunteered her time at Bayshore Hospital. Predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Joseph Corral II; and her parents, Sue and Irving Meistrich, Carole is survived by many cherished friends and family, including her children, Steven Jacobson of Clayton Marc Jacobson and Donna Wrenn of Shrewsbury, and Daniel and Dawn Jacobson of Howell; grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Zachary, Cameron, and Benjamin Jacobson; sisters, Judy (Meistrich) and Sol Buchband of Boynton Beach, and Linda (Meistrich) Rothenberg of Edison; and many of Joe's children and Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Perth Amboy. CAMPAGNOLA, SR. AGE: 86 HAZLET Sergio R. Campagnola, 86, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug 9, 2010 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. He was born on August 9, 1924 in Mar del Plata Argentina Shortly after his birth his family returned to Biscieglie, Italy until 1935 when they came to the United States. 9, 2010, at Meridian Sub Acute Rehabilitation, Wall. Mr. Chappie was an officer for Prentice Hall Publishing in New York City before retiring in 1980. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II from 1941-1944 in Burma.

He was a graduate of City College of New York in Manhattan, where he earned a BS in Business. Mr. Chappie was a communicant of St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, Spring Lake, where he was an usher for the 9 a.m. Mass.

He was a member of the Fairway Mews Country Club, Spring Lake Heights, a member of the Men's 18 hole Group at Fairway Mews and helped to organize the annual golf outing benefitting the Spring Lake First Aid Squad. He was a former scout master for the Boy Scouts of America in New York and was an avid bridge player. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he lived ROBERT A. HAGER AGE: 62 WALL Robert A. Hager, 62, of Wall died Tuesday Aug.

10, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Newark, NJ, Robert lived in Nutley, NJ before moving to the shore area 60 years ago. Robert worked as a Steel Worker and has owned Welding in Brick since 1972. He served the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Robert attended Calvery Presbyterian Church in Wall Township, NJ.

He was a missionary to Haiti since 1987 and later founded Step of Faith Ministry which continues to serve the poor both in Haiti and locally. He was a surfer since the 1960's, he loved Snowboarding, Whitewater rafting, Fishing, Bee Keeping, and gardening. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Susan Baker Hager; two sons, Jason Hager and his wife Jennifer of Toms River, NJ, Justin Hager and his wife Kelly of Howell; two sisters, Gail Hager of Dover, DE, and Susan West of Jupiter, FL. He also leaves six Grandchildren. Emily Hager, Robert Hager, Jake Hager, Ryan Hager, Tyler Ha ger and Logan Hager (expected in September 2010).

Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 7-9 pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Wall.
