MARION MATTHEWS AGE: 97 -FORMERLY OF FREEHOLD AND TOMS RIVER Marion Matthews, age 97, formerly of Freehold and Toms River, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010. She was predeceased hy her sister, Lorraine O'Brien. Surviving is her niece, Pat Wilson and her husband Bob.

In retirement Mary Lu belonged to the Monmouth County Retired Teachers Association and every Tuesday played Mexican Train Dominoes with her retired friends from the Oceanport School. She also enjoyed her late winter trips to Florida and summers at the Long Branch Beach. The family invites you to leave an online condolence at www.damianofuneralhome. MARSHAL F. SHEEHAN AGE: 79 WALL Marshal Sheehan, 79, of Wall, died on Saturday, April 3, 2010. He was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne for many years before moving to Wall 11 years ago. He enlisted in the Marine Corps In 1948 and served as a German Sergeant at Inchon, Wonsan, and the Chosen Reservoir during the Korean War.

Mr. Sheehan retired as director of marketing and sales from Puerto Rico Marine Management and Sea Land service at Port Newark, N.J. He was the current president of the Chosen Few Veterans of New Jersey, and was actively involved in the renewing of a portion of Highway 35 to honor the many heroes of the battle at the Chosen few Reservoir. Mr. Sheehan was past commander of the Marine Detachment of Four Seasons, Wall, and a member of the board of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains Legion of Honor.

He was past State Commander of the Catholic War Veterans of New Jersey, and Third Vice Commander of the National Catholic War Veterans and received their highest award "The Order of St. Sebastian." Mr. Sheehan was past commander of Assumption CWV Post 1612, Bayonne, and member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Marine Corps League Korean Way Veterans. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lynnore (Bauss); his beloved daughters, Margaret Amelia, Maureen Fout, and Rose Marie Williamson and husband Wayne; and grandchildren, Megan and Tara Amelia, Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Lauren Williamson. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 AM at St.

com. ROBERT JAMES WILSON AGE: 41 FREEHOLD TWP. Robert James Wilson, 41, of Freehold Township, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at home. Born in Long Branch, he has resided in Freehold all of his life. He was a communicant of St.

Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Robert was a driver for Tire Express in Yardville and an avid NJ Devils and NY Yankee fan. He is survived by his parents, James and Barbara Wilson his two sisters, Bonnie Wilson-Alexander and Beth Wilson-Dougherty; his grandmothers, Alma Moore and Leone Wilson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Finn, 93, of Toms River died on Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Born on December 17, 1916 in Plymouth, PA to Enoch and Jennie Williams, she lived in Rahway, NJ before moving to the Toms River area in 2003. Mrs. Finn attended the Wyckoff Heights Hospital Nursing School in Brooklyn, NY. She was a registered nurse for the Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.

Mrs. Finn was predeceased by her husband, James A. Finn in 1978 and her daughter, Marie J. Corbally in 2000. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, John R.

Finn and Patti of Beachwood, NJ and Patrick Finn and Stephanie of Durham, NC; her four grandchildren, Michael and Kevin Finn and Christy and Carolynn Corbally. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A funeral service will take place at at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.

Partala, 84, of Howell, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Peter was born in Russia and had lived in Germany before settling to Howell in 1951. He was an auto mechanic throughout the area until his retirement in 1988. Mr. Partala was a parishioner of St.

Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Church, Howell. Peter was a loving husband, devoted father, and dear friend. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lubow, in 2009; his parents; and a brother, John Partala. Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Maria of Howell; two sons, Eugene P. Partala of Aston, and Alexander P.

Partala of Howell; two daughters, Sieglinde "Linda" and her husband, Robert Bonfilio of Brockway, and Maria A. Partala of Howell; one grandson, John Martin Bonfilio of Overland Park, Kansas; two brothers-in-law, Michael Pichler and his wife, Frieda of Virginia, and Al Byer and his wife, Diane of Oklahoma; and his nieces, Jill and Claudine. Pannyhida will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 220 Alexander Howell.

MARY LU PINGITORE AGE: 61 OCEANPORT Mary Lu Zambrano Pingitore, age 61 of Ocean-port died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Monmouth Medical Center after a courageous 9 year battle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, her family was with her at the time of her She was born and raised on Vander-bilt Ave in Long Branch, attended the Long Branch Public Schools graduating in the high school class of 1966 and graduated from Monmouth University class of 1970.

Mary Lu was a retired Spanish teacher 24 years having taught in Thompson Jr High; Middle-town High School North; Shore Regional; Monmouth Beach; Maple Place and Wolf Hill Schools. She started the first foreign language program in the Oceanport School District. She took great delight each holiday season taking her classes throughout the school singing Spanish holiday songs. She was active in the community of Oceanport serving as" president of the Oceanport Library Association for over 25 years; a former Council Candidate; a 30 year Republican Committee Woman for District Two working on all the Ocean- THOMAS R. MC BARRON AGE: 82 WALL Thomas R.

McBarron, 82, of Wall, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. McBarron was born in Jersey City, N.J. and resided in Lyndhurst for four years before moving to Rutherford, where he resided for 39 years. He moved to WallManasquan twelve years ago.

He was a graduate of St. Peter's College, Jersey City. He enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard in 1948 and served for eight years. He was employed by for 42 years. After his retirement he worked part-time for Hallmark Cards as a display designer for 16 years.

He married his beloved wife, Patricia Hanson McBarron in 1954 and was married for 55 years. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Mary Ellen and Richard Boxer, Thomas and Paula McBarron, Kevin and Bren-da McBarron, Maureen and Robert King, James and Tara McBarron, and Matthew and Cheryl McBarron. Grandchildren, Kelsey, Kacie, Kenzie, Brielle, Jenny, Brian, Christopher, Caroline, Cortland, Jack, Lauren, Caitlin and Erin also survive. Tom was a loving and humorous man. He will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 A.M. at St. Denis Catholic Church, 90 Union Avenue, Manasquan. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting will be Wednesday, 2-4 7-9 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, New Jersey.

He was employed by Fort Monmouth as a Foreman in the Engineering Department before retiring in 1976 and then later retired from the International Brotherhood of Painters. He was a life member of the VFW 6902 of Highlands. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June McGrail of Middletown, NJ; a son and daughter in law, Rev. Martin and Jessica McGrail, Jr. of Highlands; a daughter and son in law, Jessica and Michael Saul of Tinton Falls; a daughter and son in law, Susan and Greg Hyland of HowelL NJ; a sister, Ann Shaughnessy of Point Pleasant, and five Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday at Our Lady of CHARLES JOHN "CHUCK" NIMON AGE: 51 FORMERLY OF L1NCROFT Charles John Nimon 51, of Shoemakersville, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Her-shey Medical Center from Diabetic complications.

He was born Dec. 27, 1958 in Red Bank and was the first son of Robert and, Eileen Nimon. He graduated from St. Leo the Great Grammar School and Red Bank Catholic High School. He was an Altar Boy at St.

Leo the Great Church, a volunteer fireman in Lincroft, and a Boy Scout. Chuck was on the staff of Forestburg Camp for Boy Scouts in NY State in his youth. He attended St. Leo's University in Florida. For a short time, he lived in Lake Hiawatha and also Dover.

In 1996, he moved to Shoemakersville, where he lived until his passing. He worked as a project manager for N.J. Bell, Lucent, and Avaya. He retired from Avaya in 2008. He served as president of the Shoemakersville Fire Dept.

in PA. Chuck is predeceased by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Nimon. He is survived by his father and mother, Deacon Bob and Eileen Nimon of Bradenton, his brother, Michael Nimon of Lincroft; his sisters, Nancy Nimon of Brick, and Jennifer Nimon of Ocean Township; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Chuck loved his family, his friends and his dogs. Chuck was thoughtful, caring, and dedicated.

He was unparalleled in his generosity. He had a great spirit and could make people laugh, until they cried (literally). He was an extremely hard worker. He took great pride in whatever job he did. He was especially proud of the Shoemakersville Fire Dept.

Bingo that he organized on Wednesdays and Sundays. He loved the beauty of living out "in the country" in Pennsylvania; from the small town feel, to the beautiful open green fields, to the animal life, and even the llamas. He was an avid sports fan. He played sports in his younger days; baseball and football. And later, he collected sport memorabilia.

He was a loyal fan; he loved the Giants, Mets, Knicks, and-to his family's dismay-the Rangers. Chuck loved his family so deeply; he was so giving and so thoughtful. He was the type of person that would listen and hear you say you needed something. Then, for your next birthday or holiday, he'd have it for you! He was the "king" of gadgets and toys. For several years, he hosted the "Shoey Christmas Extravaganza" for his family and friends from N.J.

Chuck was an avid animal lover, dogs in particular. He referred to his late dog, Oakley, as his And he was never at a loss of funny stories for his dogs, Abby and Eli. Son, brother, Chuck will be missed. The wake will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursday, April 8 at Holm- del Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 9 at St. Leo the Great Church, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft.

Tulino was born in Naples, Italy and came to the United States in 1945, where she had lived in Brooklyn before settling to Silvermead, Freehold in 2004. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 2003 and her sister, Maddelena. Mrs. Tulino is survived by two sons, Carmine Tulino and his fiancee, Diana Urgo of Freehold Township, and Vincent Tulino and his wife, Donna of Jackson; three daughters, Mary and her husband, Don Hylander of Jacksonville, NC, Susan and her husband, Scott Brady of Brooklyn, and Nancy Tulino and her former husband, Vi-to of Freehold; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, John Prongay; a daughter, Michele Clark; a sister, Dorothy Prongay; a granddaughter, Brianna Velasquez, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pyne, 68, of Sea Bright, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010, at River-view Medical Center, Red Bank. Tom was born and raised in Newark moving to Sea Bright 17 years ago. He was employed with the Asbestos Workers Local 32 in Newark for 30 years. A member of the American Legion in the Highlands, he was also an avid fisherman. Tom is the son of the late Thomas and Marion Pyne, he is also predeceased by his son, Richard Pyne; and two brothers, Dick Pyne and Larry Pyne.

Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years, Mary McElfresh Pyne; his sons and daughters, Thomas Pyne, Keith Pyne, Raymond Pyne, Tammy Ferrullo, and Mary Ann Smeraldo and her husband Jack; step-son, Bobby McElfresh; sister, Marion Conroy; and grandchildren, Tommy, Kaitlyn, Davey, Johnny, Robbie, Mikey, Nicky, and Christopher.
