Sept. 12, 2008 ART NEWS by Bobbi Seidel as ri-l i.ti-. rvt-3 A four-artist show running Sept. 17 through Oct. 4' at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center features paintings by Leonia Mroczkowski of Neptune and Norma Wokas of Atlantic Highlands and works by photographer, mixed-media and fabric artist Mary Ann Russo of Mid-dletown and by mixed-media and digital Photoshop artist Cecilia Swatton of Red Bank.

Watercolor paintings of Shore scenes by Donna Fer-rante of Spring Lake are on exhibit in a solo show through Oct. 6 at the New Jersey Resources corporate office, 1415 Wyckoff Road, Wall. Hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays. (732) 938-1159.

"Aspirational Park," an exhibit of manipulated digital photographs on canvas that portray Asbury Park by Ruben Martinez of West Long Branch, takes place 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 13 in the lobby of the Santander Condominium, 400 Deal Lake Drive in Asbury Park. The one-day exhibit of works about 4 by 5 feet in size is sponsored by the condominium association and will include wine, cheese, music and a meeting with Martinez, whose work also can be seen at The Market Daniele, Salt Water Beach Cafe and The Harrison Restaurant Bar, all in Asbury Park. Watercolors by Frank Cola-guori and Bill Cole, both of West Long Branch, are on display Sept.

14 through Oct. 3 at Terner House Gallery, adjacent to the Ocean Township branch of the Monmouth County Library, 701 Deal Road, Ocean Township. A reception takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 14.

(732) 531-2600. The exhibit "Jacob Landau: Humanist and Visionary" runs Sept. 16 through Oct. 26 at the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, 310 Mount's Corner Drive, Freehold Township. Admission is free to the event showcasing Landau's watercolors, woodcuts and lithographs.

The show opens from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 14 at the gallery, 96 E. Water St. Hours: noon-4 p.m.

Wednesday through Saturday. (732) 244-4300. Autobiographical work and still lifes by Christina Sy-manski of Freehold will be on exhibit Sept. 15 to Nov. 14 at Red Horse Gallery at the Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold Township.

A reception takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 18 at the gallery, which is a collaborative effort of VSA arts of New Jersey and the Arc of Monmouth County that features works by artists with disabilities. Symanski, who injured her spinal cord in a 2005 diving accident that paralyzed her from the chest down, has limited movement in her arms and paints by holding the brush in her mouth.
