Letters of condolence may be e-mailed to CASILDA GONZALEZ, 93, of FREEHOLD, died Friday, Sept. 7, at home. Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Forcadela, Spain and moved to the United States in 1934. Mrs.

Gonzalez and her husband operated the Country Inn, Freehold Township from 1948 to 1949 and the Freehold Deli, East Main Street, Freehold. They were both employed at the Horsemen's Kitchen at Freehold Raceway, and Granada Inn, Asbury Park. Casilda Drive and Ramon Boulevard in Freehold Township were named after Mrs. Gonzalez and her husband. Her husband, Ramon Gonzalez, died in 1995.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ramon Jr. and Mary Gonzalez of Freehold; four grandchildren, Ramon Gonzalez III of Texas, Ronald and Stephen Gonzalez, both of Freehold, and Marysue Vang and her husband Robert of Jackson; and a great -granddaughter, Karina Vang. The viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Freehold.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by entombment a at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold. VERA R.

HARTMANN, of IN- TERLAKEN, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was born in Arlington and had lived for over 50 years in Interlaken. She was a communicant of St.

Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Deal, a member of the Ariel Club and the Deal Golf and Country Club. "She loved flowers and Bridge and her family and friends were the most important things to her." Vera is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frank J. Hartmann; a son and inlaw, Hank and Lauren Hartmann of Brielle; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Stamm of Darien, and Mary E. Hartmann and Randy Springer of N. Miami, three sisters, Mary Porzio of Old Bridge, Helen Hatfield of Florida, and Kay Dunn of Toms River; and three grandchildren, Michael, Vera, and Peter Stamm.

6, at home, with his family by his side, after a long and courageous battle with ALS, "Lou Gehrig's Disease." Donald worked for Fort Monmouth as a technical writer for over 40 years. He was born March 1, 1936 and was the son of Aniela Adamska Franek and Adolf Drzewuszewski in Poznan, Poland. He was a survivor of work camps during World War II before immigrating to the U.S.

in 1951. He was a longtime resident of Staten Island, N.Y. A skilled printer, offset press technician, craftsman and artist, he suffered a major stroke in 1994, and his courage, tenacity and ingenuity in overcoming the disability that left him partially paralyzed has been inspirational. He is survived by his sister, Danuta Van Loan; his son, Andre Adamski; his daughters, Halina Adamski and Janette Hansen; his former wife, Elga Antonsen-Brown; six grandchildren, Kayla, Amanda, Shaelyn, Zachary, Violet, and Melody; two great grandchildren, Julian and Sophia; two nieces; and his beloved dog, Clarice. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.

Monday at Cheesequake State Park, Old Bridge. Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements. VELMA BORCHERS, 71, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at home. Mrs.

Borchers was born in Flatlick, Ky. and had lived in New York, Holmdel, and Colts Neck before moving to Freehold Township in 2002. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 1997. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Susan Borchers of Freehold Township, and Glenn and Emily Borchers of Topsham, Maine; a brother, Raymond Hammons of Sterling Heights, two sisters, Ardith Holzmacher of Datow, S.C., and Hazel Hammons of West Babylon, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Mallory, Lars, and Fiona.

2, at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Valencia, Calif. Born in Long Branch, he lived in West Keansburg and recently moved to Castaic, Calif.He retired in 2001, after a 30 year career in mall management. After retirement, he began his own business and was known as "Handyman Rich." He was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor and was a former member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hazlet.

His father, John Lawrence Boyd, died in 1958; and his father-in-law, Frank E. Dowd, died in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Donna M. Do wd Boyd; two sons, John Richard Boyd Jr. and his wife Mary of Castaic, and Alexander F.

Boyd of Matawan; a daughter, Tasha Leigh Rakota and her husband Anthony of Wake Forest, N.C.; his mother, Edna Mae Osborne Boyd of Vineland; his sister, Sandra Brown of Vineland; his mother-in-law, Eva Dowd of Matawan; two grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth and Anthony Francis his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank and Judy Dowd, Dennis and Karan Dowd, Barbara and Robert Day, Eva and Tom Ryan, and Susan Dowd; and 17 nieces and nephews. Eric Feldman Leukemia Program at Weill Cornell Medical Center. VERA DESIMINI, 65, of Belford, MIDDLETOWN, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a medical assistant for Dr. Swirsky in Matawan for 13 years, retiring in 2002.

She was a communicant of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands. She was born in Kiev, Ukraine and came to the United States in December 1951, settling in Brooklyn. She lived in Hazlet for 25 years before moving to Belford five years ago. Surviving are her husband, Pasquale Desimini; two daughters, Lisa Desimini and Natalie Schaeffer; two brothers, Victor Czornyj and Arthur Klassen; and two grandsons, James and Jack Schaeffer.

Don still continued to work as an independent technical writer because he was held in the highest regard in his profession. Don loved what he did so much that this past year during his illness, he was still writing for ESP of Eatontown.

He was an avid runner who ran over 12 marathons. Marel Michalek Kenny, his wife of 50 years said that, "Don had hands of gold, from woodworking to stained glass lamps." He was born in the Bronx and was raised in Flushing. Donald entered the Army in 1954 and served until 1957. After his years of service, he lived in Astoria, and East North Port, Long Island before moving to Wall 41 years ago. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Kenny; and a sister, Kathleen Jones.

Donald is survived by his wife, Marel Kenny; two sons and a daughterin-law, Michael Kenny of Willowstreet, and Paul and Karen Kenny of Holeman, two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Gary Fuerst of Blandon, and Marybeth and James Mack of Mohrsville, and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Vincent and Christine Kenny, and Joseph and Bernadette Kenny, all from Bedford, N.H., and Brendan Kenny of Austin, Texas. Donald is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Melissa Kenny, Patrick Kenny, David Mack, Jamie Mack, Joey Mack, Mitchell Fuerst, Lauren Fuerst, Samantha Kenny, Alyson Kenny, Shane Kenny, William Kenny, and Matthew Kenny. MATHILDE MANSOUR, 81, of Raleigh, N.C., whose brother lives in SPRING LAKE, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, at her daughters' residence in Raleigh. Born in the Sudan, she lived in Egypt and Lebanon, where she married and immigrated to the United States in 1968. She lived in Ridgefield and Sparta before moving to Raleigh four years ago. Surviving are her daughters, Marianne Mansour of Raleigh N.C., and Micheline Hossain of Geneva, Switzerland; a brother, Richard Saffadi of Spring Lake; a sister, Ursule Saffadi of Zurich; and three grandchildren, Kinzie, Vanessa, and Ferial.

Luke's United Methodist Church, Long Branch and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Long Branch Fire Department. Born in Newark, she had lived in Long Branch since 1942. She was predeceased by her husband, the former 1961 Long Branch Fire Chief Edward Miller, who died in 1963; her parents, Lester and Clara McDavitt; a brother, Lester Edward McDavitt; a sister, Shirley Barton; and her son-in-law, Leonard Kane. She was born in Jersey City and moved to Asbury Park as a young child, where she lived until moving to Oakhurst in 1958.

She attended schools in Asbury Park and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Asbury Park. Mrs. Perantoni was a manager of the Steinbach Company Grill Room, Asbury Park from 1936 until her retirement in 1975. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Perantoni, in 1975; and a previous husband, William A.

Dennison, in 1948; her parents, Louis and I Angelina Casca; her brother, Angelo Casca; and her sisters, Clare, Teresa, and Evelyn. She is survived by her sister, Louise Tellalian; her loving nieces, Rosemary Guzzi of Glastonbury, Patricia Grasso of Elberon, and Linda Athans of Wayside; and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Asbury Park. Interment will be in St.

7. at The Manor, Freehold. Born in Russia, she lived in Yonkers, N.Y. for 45 years and Florida for 12 years before moving to Howell. Mrs.

Skolnick was a seamstress for more than 25 years and a member of Cancer Care in Yonkers, N.Y, Mrs. Skolnick was predeceased by her husband, Rubin Skolnick, in 1991; her grandson, Scott Dorffman, in 2001; and her brother and three sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Anita Dorffman of Manalapan, and Leta Berger of Theills, N.Y.; her son, Mark Skolnick of Lowell, her four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Old Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Boulevard, Queens, N.Y.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Tinsley worked for the Atomic Energy Commission at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, Princeton. She was predeceased by her husband, Selden L.

Tinsley, in 1987. Survived are her stepson, Richard Lee Tinsley and his wife, Ngoc Loan of Fort Collins, three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Thomas M. Cornish and his wife Diane of Lancaster, and Terence N. Cornish of Cherry Hill. Mrs. Tinsley's funeral was private and under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. MICHAEL JAMES TOPHAM, 23, a lifelong resident of LONG BRANCH, died Thursday, Sept. 6. He was a laborer for Local 472, Newark.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Sherry Fisher Topham of Long Branch; a brother, Steven Topham Jr. and his wife Mandy of Brick; two sisters, Nicole and Stephanie Topham of Long Branch; his grandparents, Lois Topham and Joan and John Fisher of Long Branch; his nieces and nephew, Steven III, Madison and Sienna; his girlfriend, Damaris Durand of Branch, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch.

3, at home. Beloved husband of Joanie, he was married for 56 years at the time of her passing in April of this year. Born in Atlanta, Al grew up in Pittsburgh, attended Bethany College in West Virginia and graduated from the Carnegie Mellon Technical Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa. Al worked in telecommunications as a manager and engineer with Network Systems for 35 years. He was a member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church.

He is survived by his son, Alfred S. Wentworth III and his wife Michele and grandchildren, Mason and Rachael of Galva, his daughter, Constance S.W. Van Gorden and her husband William F. of Geneva, and his sister, Beatrice Reynolds of Staunton, Va. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.

Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Colts Neck Reformed Church. The family requests that donations be made to the Colts Neck Reformed Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 57, Colts Neck, NJ 07722, or the David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center, Trudy Merer, 300 Second Long Branch, NJ 07740, in lieu of flowers.

Arrangements are by Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel. JOSEPH A. CARDONE, 88, of TOMS RIVER, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at his daughter's home in Toms River. He was a hairdresser for his father at Cardone's Beauty Parlor of Newark.

He then became a sales agent for Prudential Insurance Company in Kearny, retiring at the age of 55. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. Born in Montclair, he lived in Newark, Bloomfield, North Arlington, Kearny, Seaside Heights, and Cedar Grove before moving to Toms River in 1974. He was predeceased by his wife, Columbia, in 1989; a brother, Anthony Cardone; and his son-in-law, William Anderer.

Surviving are his daughter, Janice Anderer of Toms River. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m.
